those projection tv's were the early forerunners for the we have today, and the stink bug was after the liquid it does have vegetable oil in it i never stripped one ty for sharing.onto the next adventure

They are a good tear down, but a lot of trash to get rid of as well. I charge my customers $50 to take them just for the hassle of loading and disposing of the trash. If you are REALLY serious about silver recovery, I've heard the mirrors have a high silver content in them as well. Great video, Phil!

Are you keeping the boards for yourself or selling them on? Only Westcoast seems to buy them but their rules are convoluted: 'free of transformers and capacitors' . Removing the transformers is easy enough but every last capacitor? Really? It would be impossible to make money spending all that time removing them all.
