Avid uk recycler here watching your content recently and really enjoying it, any chance you have a video or plan on doing one on what you do with all the small bits and peices you get while scrapping things? I.e screws, bolts, nuts, wire ends etc? Figuring out how to sort them always makes my brain itch

Hello Tin Man,,, Sweden here again. Nice video as usual, pretty much the same as I do with my boards. The Doughnuts are Torroidal transformers, some I take off for the Cu. I did the math once and it turns out I get more for them as electric motor then for the copper. Your Prongs are Mosfet, don't know much more but I get Highgrade copperwire price for those. I use two yards depending on what material I have, both pay flat rate for aluminium, regardless extruded, sheet,painted or not and they allow some contaminents like the random nuts and bolts. Circuitboards also flat rate.I have found a buyer for IC chips, goldpins and that kind of thing. Stay safe and take care.

Nice and thanks for the update and info. Nice that you found a buyer for the gold pins and such. Amazing Athena different prices yards will pay for items compared to other yards. Stay well

What is the wire made of on the aluminum extrusion?
@TinManScrapper
@TinManScrapper Год назад
Scratch it, if it reveals copper under coating it is coated copper and if scratched and still stays gray then aluminum wire.
