Using those wire cable roller was what I had suggest on a early video, good to see that you really try, using your screwdriver as a guide for it to spin is the thing that make it works, if you can tune the machine to cut the wire straight and put 2 rollers on the other side you can then load the waste and the copper separate without making a mess for yourself. you'll make things a lot more efficient for yourself when you get big bundle of cables like this. you just need some fix bar at both sides to put in and out the rollers. The only hustle would be loading the wires in rollers in the first place, but there's technology solutions for that like Wire Winder, there's manual and electrical ones. Good Scrapping!

You must have a strong back! All that up and down would kill mine. Ever thought about putting the wire on a table to save your back?

Is there or is there not a way to dissolve the sheathing on the wire ....a work station near where you are feeding the wire would aid in one not bending over as much...
@ProjectShopFl

When you were stripping green solid core and black wires, would the machine not strip the green if you put it on the same slot as the black?
@ProjectShopFl
@ProjectShopFl 9 дней назад
It would but I'd have to adjust it.

Whats the smallest wire you will strip? My yards dont have bare bright as a category. #1 stripped is their highest grade. So unfortunately i do strip romex because its #1. Even to let it go insulated, they dock us hard if we dont remove at least the outer insulation.
@ProjectShopFl

The green wire I was stripping in this video I usually don't strip.
@demolitionsexpert

can the wire stripper handle running to pieces of wire at the same time?
@ProjectShopFl
@ProjectShopFl 9 дней назад
It would have to be dialed in really good for that because the slots are and the roller will move. The machine bolted to the right of that stripper will strip 2-4 wires at a time.

hey buddy, you know if you go google they say copper suppose to go up to 5.00 lb! and for your safety you should some of your red neck brillance and make some kind of cove over the rollers when striping wire and putting your arm over it

Thanks I have all the original covers for the machine. I choose not to have them on because when wire gets jammed I have to take them off.

For luminaire MC cable(usually a 12/2 thhn and a 16/2 dimming cable) what do you do? I usually take the 12/2 out and separate the thhn and dimming wire and the scrap yard I go to gives me 14/2 Romex price for the dimming cable... Curious if it's worth it.

Dude, How much money you reckon is lost each time you handle your recyclables over and over again before you finally scrap them and get paid? You ought to know better than to let yourself be recorded with your own equipment showing you are wearing open toed sandals!! Really?
