I remember the first time I brought in a hundred thousand pounds of metal in a year.. I was so excited and then I hit a million pounds. And now i'm like this is insane.. Hard work pays off. You just gotta stay motivated. Which is the hardest part scrap on guys
@@Adventureswithmike1 right , I was just going through my receipts from last year same time scrap was like 250-270/ ton lol I’m hoping it goes back to that again.
@@michiganhustler Yeah, anything over 200 a ton is good.. Anything over 250 is better obviously. The sweet spot is 350 in above. That's when things start getting crazy
@@Adventureswithmike1 it goes to 350$ I’ll be rolling money lol cause I get so much shit from people on the side it’s stupid. This isn’t my full time gig. I just do it as a side hustle and it’s a good work out
This just showed up on my phone and I was just scrapping yesterday. Weird coincidence? Or is it the phone tracking us and suggesting videos? Lol. I have three jobs so I don't get to scrap to much. But yesterday I made two trips to a co-workers house to load scrap. I took in 260 pounds of light iron and 9 pounds for an electric motor and got $16.50. I still have a huge trash bag of aluminum cans plus aluminum window frames to cash in. Plus a bit of light iron. I also have the one more load to pick up and sort. I don't have a trailer but the most I've made is $75 in one trip.
It's a good way to make some extra cash. If you're looking to find More. Ask more of your friend's neighbors and relatives. You'll be surprised what they have to get rid of
@@Adventureswithmike1 my main job is for a cleaning service..these people we were working for were throwing out a big electric wheel chair. They had it in a roll off dumpster. They were glad I took it. I litterally rolled it into my boss's trailer and took it apart at home. It weighed over 500 pounds. Plus two huge Motors for the wheels. I think I made $50 for all that.
@@Adventureswithmike1 i know man ..i been a junk man most my life ...not as big as what u do but id like to ...im down with health issues ATM cant do much of anything ...but when i get back up n goin ..ill be junkin ..i have a barrell of copper in my shed and a huge pile of brass to get me started ...LOL
@@fartsackjack7081 Well since I came from nothing. I've had to fight my entire life to get what I have. And it's only my hard work and my friendships that have gotten me this far
