Hi Gayle, I had to share. I have been a daily lurker for several years. My daughter was over yesterday in my craft room while I was finishing up a journal. I said "Oh, I have to draw in the antlers". It just came out! She's like.. What?? All I could do was laugh.

Morning sweet Gayle, I am on Insomnia Island, and I needed 😅 the antler refresher lol...I chop them too they can be so fiddly..its our MT motto..Replace your antennas with antlers here 😂 I remember that I have been with you since 2018 and you have given me more laughs and giggles 😃 over the years especially in my really dark times of loosing loved ones, and almost myself entirely. In fact my Ink and Think sweatshirt the letters are pealing off I've worn it so much ❤ These are such neat ideas Gayle. Thank you.

I do like these pockets. They are really cute. I like the butterflies but think using mushrooms in a fall journal would be nice as well. And flowers would also work. Actually the possibilities are endless. Thanks for the ideas.

I think maybe some of the Tim Holtz people would be cute peeking over the top. I’ve done pockets where people or flowers or butterflies, etc were on the front sticking up but never behind. You always have great ideas for scraps. With some of the patterned papers being plain on the back you could glue, staple or sew on the crease therefore having more writing space.

Good morning Gayle! Love the pockets. I also need to get out in the yard. I have a ton of work to do including getting my veggies planted. We went from raining every day to 80 degrees, neither one is optimal weather for planting my starts but the veggies are getting to big for their small pots. I love working in the yard. Yes me too. I only share some flip troughs of my journals on RU-vid. And i am not a professional or anything. Just love making journals and give them way. And no expensive stuff i use. And i love making a memory journal for others. I use pictures i get from them and make tags and card with that. So a kind of personal memory journal ❤

As I was watching you this morning. I looked around and saw a tall flash card, and decided to try it on that. It’s so cute. The flash card I used had a 6 on the top so it’s upside down and now looks like a 9!

Very cool idea, thanks Gayle! You've inspired me to use my fussy cuts as tabs peeking off the pages too. Kind of like your page edge ideas, but just one as a tab. I'd have to address the back side of the tab, on the flip side of the page, but that's ok. I wonder if my printer can flip the image of a whole page of butterflies for instance, so I'd have the butterfly showing on both sides of the page? Hmm. Double-sided hidden paper clips would be fun with peeking out fussy cuts too. Oh boy, here we go...

I always cut off the antlers with the intention of drawing them in afterwards, but then I always forget to draw them in. I was going through some of my old photos on my phone and cleaning them out and I ran across the butterfly with antlers picture that I sent you a couple years ago, I don’t remember if I deleted it or not.

I just cut the antlers off when I fussy cut. Lol. Sometimes I will draw them in. I am going to try to make a ephemera album out of a post bound one. I got two from hobby lobby and a extra insert pages each. You think they would have 8 inch papers to put in the pages? Nope. And they have no Tim Holtz at all anymore.

It irritates me that Hobby Lobby, Michaels, & Jo-Anns have all gone exclusively to their own store brand of paper only. I don't mind their paper, but I really miss the designer brands of papers. I do order them online, but it's not the same as seeing them in person. And while I'm on a rant, I really miss scrapbook stores. I was traumatized when Archivers went out of business, lol. Sigh.

Morning Pat! Oh, how fun a momma and her baby bunnies. We’ve had a sweet baby bunny in our back yard just recently too. I love him! 🥰❤
