Thanks Martin, I'm enjoying working on it, and the weathering effects are sort of trial and error. Lots more to do, but I think it's coming along nicely so far.
Starting to look nice and busy. You'll be thinking about stacking some of those motors, and maybe stripping a few of them back and whacking the remains with a hammer! I do like that caravan! Next up, a forklift to start stacking with!
Looks great but a couple of cars stacked on top of each other would really look like the places I remember and yes definitely an old breakdown truck. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, and thank you for the suggestions. A breakdown truck is definitely on the list of things to add, I'm looking for the right one, or I might custom build one. I will probably stack a few cars on top of each other, I've got a few more cars I'm working on to add later.
Looks nice! I just love the fact how aging diecast cars kinda reflects how actual cars are aging in a scrapyard. I got some of my older Matchbox/Hot wheels cars that are more than suitable for this and i always wanted to make some dioramas like this, if only i would have the time for it.
Thank you. It's good fun putting a diorama like this together. You should definitely try it. But you're right about finding the time, I don't have as much spare time to work on this as I'd like, so it's slow progress. Thanks for watching.
