This tutorial shows a 2D Minecraft game with a static cloning system. It is much easier to create than the 2D Minecraft game using tile scrolling. Other: Scratch Account: scratch.mit.ed... Scratch Project: scratch.mit.ed...
@Mattant sorry for disturbing again But When I put my Block X -228 Y -168 its not covering the backdrop , so should i put it in X -233 Y -165 pls tell , this tutorial helped me alot but can you tell how to make tile scrolling easily?
Looks like you haven't centred the blocks correctly, you need to make sure the block is on the cross in the centre, it should snap there if you move it towards it.
You can't make Tile Scrolling any easier than I have shown in my video. The concept of Tile Scrolling is that you store the world's data in a list, and in my game every 128 blocks you go right once, if you change y by 1 all the blocks shift up one place in the list. You can't really just make something easier, I could probably have explained it a bit better. If you make something easier, you always have to compromise something.
tip just for the future of content (btw the vid is great im not hating on it just feedback) 1. you should explain that its important to make the blocks 6 pixels 2. name the sprites and costumes to make it less confusing
