I haven't even heard the name of scratch until I changed school 2 years ago when I was 15. I still don't know what it is and how to uSe it, I have already tried to use it. Watching 9-10 year olds knowing how to use scratch hurts.

@@jmesen180 They are bad animations, usually just nightcore and 3 art pieces switched around with effects and stuff or whatever. Scratch is not really a good tool for animation, for animation people should be using professional software and not something like scratch. I hate the fallacy of "Try do it yourself" as if you think I know nothing about animation or as if you think everyone on planet earth is capable of animation. I am a Game Developer, and I use Godot to make walking animations for my Pixel Art. With animations it usually comes down to art skills, and with furry animations on scratch there are and can be a lot of art problems like messy lines and just 9 year old artwork. Art drawn by children or by people who don't know how to draw is ok as long as it has a charm to it, i personally find that bad art used ironically can be very enjoyable, in the case of Tails vs Trolls. Everyone can improve, but with the state that they are in currently when they use Scratch as their animation framework, improving and using Scratch isn't advised. The argument of "You try it" is so weak nowadays, its like me saying "That rocket ship doesn't have enough fuel, its going to crash!" and then you saying "Oh? If you think its so easy, why don't you go build a rocket ship yourself?" and then the Rocket Ship crashes anyways.

@@74R45 Progression in the scratch version is very different from normal getting over it lmao, in a month or two you went from 2 minutes to 1:09, five months for me and I've gone from sub-2 to 1:17, and that's fast progression, wr is only 1:10 for the official version, and sub-1 is highly implausible

A programming constructor (as opposed to a text-based programming language) with it's own website and community directed primarily at 8-12 year olds, which means that everything on it must be acceptable for such an audience. The motto of the website is "imagine, program, share", and the central theme about the website is sharing ideas. They have forums; top featured/loved/remixed projects/studios on the front page; the ability to just save another person's project as your own as a remix for improvement/modding (automatically giving credit to the original person); and a few other things you'd expect from programming software. Griffpatch is the big guy on Scratch and he made the project you see in the video. The projects have some limitations, including processing speed, resolution (480x360 pixels, which they still measure in fullscreen mode), file size (50 MB), the blocks they provide you (instead of lines of text, they use blocks of text), the inability to have sprites going off-screen or too large/small, and some other things. People circumvent them, but Scratch is meant to be a very simple programmer to get the hang of before people move on to things like JavaScript where you can get the syntax wrong and break your whole page and also spend some collective hours on W3Schools looking for the statements you want. I have an account on there that I pretty much inadvertently ditched some years ago. My account is still there despite getting 20 reports because I was an insensitive idiot (and that was when I was younger and watching insensitive content on the internet - I'm a dumb-dumb.). I need to get back to it and put some FireyDeath4 Certified Cringe labels on multiple projects. When I get back to it, I have rehauls to do. I got there when I was 10 and that was 5 years ago, but I digress. Scratch will give you simple projects for jotting down your ideas. Since it's very easy and I got the hang of it, I used it a while ago to do some quick programming for practical purposes and visualising some interactivity ideas I have. But I still have a few hundred unshared projects and the problem is that I want to do things properly, but I get ideas way too frequently for that and my lifespan is dwindling.
