So at the last step for some reason instead of having a layer of bedrock at the bottom followed by stone it goes from rather a vertical stone 1 block pillar followed by bedrock on both sides or thr same but its bedrock in the place of stone and vice versa

I meant is it possible for it to be done? like when u pass a invis line/sprite, there is a message sent and when its recieved there is like a loading screen that sends you to a boss battle place.

Hey, thanks Justin!! Sure, I always make the game before hand- it usually takes a few months. Then I just jump in and record the episode with my final project in my other monitor as a reference. I just go until it's a natural place to end the video. Then I edit. Edit. Edit. Edit. EDIT. EDITTTT for hours lol... Then I make my thumbnail + title + tags + description and post the video. :D
Hey i did EXACTLY what you did, your project loops but the different block are in a same position and dont loop, but mine does loop only for right! Not to up, but when i go to right and up, it loops, and when i get to left and return, the loop disappears! Idk if you understood this :/
Great tutorial, but I encountered a problem where if the camera goes to fast, a horizontal one tile tall strip of nothing appears and it goes to the left and right sides of the world and loops vertically. Any help would be great!!
Hey there ShiftClickLearn, I kinda encountered a problem in this episode. For the last episode, I used a repeat 13 instead of a 10 as the repeat 10 didn't generate enough clones to cover the screen. But now when I change the values of tiles in the Tile Grid List, the tiles don't change. I did some testing and the tiles only switch if the repeat is a repeat 10.
have a problem , when i click the flag , the different block in 9:23 , the block is not at the bottom left center it is going placed somewhere else . can you suggest a fix for this
Hey, while keeping the camera in bounds, I have checked that I have copied the code properly, but the camera keeps looping when I press D or W, Can you tell me a solution
Hmm, you may have set the scroll x incorrectly at 7:32. Another possible issue could be if you accidentally pulled the key D or key A pressed into the if statement that keeps the camera in bounds. I think that would make the camera loop every time you move! :D
Thanks! Sorry about that- it's a really hard balance because if I'm too slow the video will be REALLY long, meaning I won't have time to edit it and post it. If you need you can go to Settings > Playback speed > 0.75 or 0.5.
Can you make a tutorial fully based on tile scrolling and generation so I can make a world with custom generation and caves with certain blocks and stuff.

For Those Who Doesn't Know Why Their World Is Much Smaller Than SCL's It's Not Actually A Bug, It's Just Because SCL Made The Movement Speed To 50 Which Gave The Illusion If The World Being Small For Him. So Don't Worry It's Part Of The Tutorial.

Hey, sorry to hear that! Are you sure you checked if the **ScrollY** is less then 180, and then set the **ScrollY** to 180 not the ScrollX? If you did, the other thing could be if your tile size / spacing is set incorrectly? Also, check your ScrollY variable when you're at the bottom of the world... What does it say? It *SHOULD* say 180. I hope this helps. :D
My ScrollX Is 240, my ScrollY is 180, my TileScale is 5, and my TileSpacing is 8. My ScrollX and ScrollY are both for all sprites. I don't know what's happening. 😕😕
I got a bug at 6:43 it started to randomly generate the whole costume. I guess I will have to restart and I am glad I made a copy before moving on to ep2.
Can someone help me? At 4:09 the left of the stage doesnt appear as 1 - 10. The middle only says 1 - 10. How can I change it to make the left the correct numbers

When I set the Main sprite's ListID to the empty value. The clone with the ID 1 was not in the corner. When I changed the empty value to 1. The clone with ID 1 went to the bottom

To fix it you go to player sprite scrollx Multiplied by the backrop thing to tile movesteps Of the main by minus 240 i think you put an less than operater for that you have to put an greater operator same for scroll y Need any more help?
I am having difficulty at the part 8:56 because the value for scroll x greater than is 3760 Same for scroll Y but the value is different So i have to scroll sooooooo much before i reach the end for right and up I had to minus 3280 from worldwidth * tile movestep for x and 7640 from y
ive got the camera limiting working for the bottom and the left side but the other sides wont work, ive checked through it multiple times but its still letting me get past
i must have done something wrong but my project is not working :,( pls help me! It's when i replace the item 1 of grid by another number. it's looping and i don't even start at the bottom but 1 tile up. It's too frustrating bc i spent hours on this episode so i don't want to scraych anymore
I liked this series so much, but I'm stuck on this episode when I replace a block and move up or down till it is out of sight, then go back the blocks always turn into stone, It shows the block (Bed Rock) first, then I move any where, I go back, and whatever I do, it disappears and turns into stone until I click the green flag, Although the ID is saved in the list, it doesn't put the block after it is off screen, I checked the video 10 times! But all the scripts are the same!
Ah, that's sad! I'll do my best to help... Are you 100% sure you set the _tileMoveStep and all that correctly? Also make sure the GenerateCloneGrid custom block is copied correctly - insure you did change / set in the correct spots and not the other way around. Lastly, make sure the loop custom block looks EXACTLY like mine.
