Mental Toughness and Success Coach Chris Dorris @thementaltoughnesscoach wrote an awesome book called “The Book of Mental Toughness Mantras.” and he commissioned me to give some of the chapters my “Scratch Wisdom” treatment, where I scratch up the words over instrumental beats.
Together, we created a series, and I present to you the second installment for your viewing pleasure.

The Problem Is The Gift.
The problem is the gift, if you'll have it be.
“Every set of circumstances can be created from, if viewed masterfully.”
I can take what I'm experiencing as a problem and turn it into a gift, but I'll only do that, if I stop having a problem with the event if I stop interpreting the event as a problem.
We have so many complaints that when you start to pay attention to them, you'll realize just how many you have.
And if you'll get into the practice of interrupting your complaints and replacing the complaints with a mantra like, "The Problem is the Gift", you have literally begun to rewire your brain.
You are reprogramming yourself FROM reacting to life problematically TO responding to life circumstances with creativity and enthusiasm.
You can just leave it at that. You don't have to do anything else.
You have already altered your state in a powerful way.
All I want to do with this mantra, "The Problem is the Gift", is to interrupt my automatic reaction to life as problematic, and open up to the possibility of creating something fantastic.
I don't need to know what the gift is in that immediate moment.
I just want to interrupt the complaint.
From this event, that moments ago I was interpreting as problematic, I’m creating something that would have never occurred to me if it wasn't for the “problem” in the first place.
The Problem is the Gift.
