As someone who used to be in an abusive relationship (emotional and physical) This really struck a cord with me. I just wanted to be enough for her and did everything I could to make her happy, but I was killing myself by then and she didn't even care. It took a lot of strength to burn that bridge and get the help I needed, especially as a man. Now I'm with a wonderful woman and I couldn't be happier

Something about this song… there’s a story behind it. It’s sad and somber and really hurts. Absolutely beautiful and I’m in love with it.

It seems to me that melancholic songs leave the greatest emotional imprint. Especially if they are a little sad.

I feel for any of Scratch21's songs since I first came across them, I always think 'Hm, not my cup of tea' for the first listen, and then find myself coming back like 4 more times the same day. Annd now it is my cup of tea, heh. Your songs are great, and always invoke some emotion in me even when I don't exactly relate to the message of the song, somehow. This song was absolutely amazing. Keep it up!

It is important to point out, this song is about an abusive male/female relationship where she is the abuser. It is important to note, males can be the victims, and all of the little things they do to keep on going. "If I just keep loving her, she will heal." "She'll treat me better once she is better." "She was nice! She really does love me!" But, sometimes, you can't "fix her".

Not what I expected to shed a tear for today. I'm absolutely stunned with how beautiful you all made this this song. The topic is a rough one to write about, but I think you all did amazing. I don't know if this was written in 12/8 time or 4/4 with triplets throughout, but the awkward push and pull really helps get the emotions off and help the song shine even brighter. I loved this.

Funny how I come across this at this moment. I mean I'm subscribed but just listening to a playlist. My job is pi$$ing me off. I bust my @$$ doing anything I'm told, I used to work 4 hour days (enough to pay bills & put some in my savings, etc no problem) but now at 2 hours a day & just today I found out from a close coworker that the boss, whom I prefer to take my orders from, thinks I'm lazy. Out of all the people at my job, I'm sure as shitake mushrooms not lazy. What hits is that I like my coworkers, even like my boss & oddly enough my job but to hear that kinda talk behind my back hurts. I mean if I'm doing something wrong, tell me so I can do better. It seems like no matter how much I do at work, it's not..... .....Enough.

I (kind of) missed the premiere stream. I had it open and was checking in, but I couldn't hear it because I was wearing a radio. Working at a race track, one cannot stop what I am doing. had to make sure cars got by safely. This is why i love coming back to this band and this channel. This is one of those songs that while I am mopping the floors at close, I will be listening to, among many of your other works. It's why when i see that Shady is live, and I am not doing anything, suddenly, I am in and I am watching art take shape. I love this song, this band and every single one of you.
