This is really cool, I’d love to see a more in depth build video. Also, I think the models could be really improved with a wash coat, just to accentuate all the layers you’ve got going on. Such an awesome project, great job
the second model is technically a good kitbash, but it is not visually obvious as to what it is a model of, is it a spaceship?, is it a speeder ?, is it some sort of incomplete part to something else ? Perhaps you could try to give it more of a car or motorcycle sort of structure (perhaps even adding kitbashed car or motorcycle model elements ?) in the mix to it, to give it more of a stronger visual design-function cue.
Hi. When I look at an object immediately a shape of a ship comes up to my mind. I guess one of the most important thing is the shape. You don't need to add a lot of details to create a model, focus on the shape. I always start with the main hull and then let the imagination flow. There is a bunch of ideas on Pinterest if you preferr, although is a bit more difficult to recreate something.
