that one single frame of Melodii screaming as they get blasted away by Cinnabay's speakers is probably the funniest fricking frame in any video game I've ever seen
Man, it’s great to see Melodii back after the sage 2022 demo, the glow up here is stunning, their new voices sounds better and the replace of the art for the returning songs is so good!
I really love this game since the inspiration of Parappa the Rapper is very noticeable but at the same time it feels quite fresh and genuine Great game
Love how the missing animations are for every scene different It makes the game feel more responsive and like a set world, instead of like a plain ol' video game it rlly sets it apart from the rest
Melodii has so many funny face reactions. Most last half a second so you gotta pause it to see them like the part where she got smacked by the tennis ball.
I just noticed that one of them is wearing an orange beanie and riding a skateboard like Parappa did in the anime and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale
Did you also noticed at 1:33 next to melodii there’s a sonic the hedgehog reference because that graffiti looks like the original one but different art style and it was sonic and knuckles on the original one
This is a direct reference to the Puyo Puyo series and the name of the Witch is Rensa, which also directly means "Chain" in Japanese which chaining is a very core part of Puyo Puyo's gameplay. The art cover is the style of Puyo Puyo Fever 2 The sound effect for when the beans pop is from Madou Monogatari They even sample the puyos rotating sound effect each time the beans rotate

Everything about the butter scene is magnificent. The set-up at the beginning, woth Melodii noticing the seemingly sentient and frazzled butter on the counter. Then, it shows up again, suddenly on the floor flexing its little arms. Jamtine and Melodii curiously peer over. Just as suddenly as it got onto the floor, it *transforms* in an instant, turning into a stern, buff butter-man? Jamtine and Melodii's jaws drop in a way that kind of goes off-model, with almost no animation whatsoever, and they remajn in this static pose for the rest of the sequence. Then. The butter starts ro dance. He pulls out moves no stick of butter should know, then the scene abruptly resumes as it was, as if the butter thing didn't just happen. Players who didn't clear this one try might not know that the butter also glares at Melodii, drawn in an unusually detailed style, when they mess up inputs and also slaps the camera (implied to be Melodii's pov) in its buff form when you fail the level.

Since the 2022 demo I liked it a lot, because of the inspiration of Parappa the Rapper and bringing that returned formula that it has, this demo feels new, for some changes and in addition to bringing the new songs, I hope for a good future for this incredible game!

This was amazing I like what they did to give the demo a new update they really upgraded with their art and music and that scene when he took a piss I wish didn’t seen that at all also going and the new song are good and characters plus animation they had really done a good job and plus going through the map it all looks 3d it looks they really had improved
Really starting to understand the appeal of this game, the music slaps, the animation and backgrounds are great, the characters are fun. What’s not to like?
I hope this project wont end up like FnF. Especially since i like the gameplay here a lot, unlike in FnF but since this is strongly oriented to Parapper The Rapper, a game series which sadly hasnt got a come back. The songs here actually sound really good aswell, while i also like the fact that Melodii starts to song more of her own than just repeating the same lyrics the whole time. Also, i like the two Parappa easter eggs a lot. Also, why do i find 15:52 so incredible funny? XD
honestly i prefer the older songs (such as stir and mix and nami.wav), it still sounds good but i think the 2022 version sounded better, hope they add an option where you can swap to older songs!! ^ ^
nuh, i liked the previous voices and versions of songs, they were more melodical well, i guess except Nami, it feels kinda the same, maybe even better but the new music is beautiful, absolutely lovin sidechain fever

Ah, the classic returns! Sure FNF is nice, but seeing Scratchin' Melodii among the ranks (and gain some of the "rhythm game" popularity alongside FNF's existence), rising once more with another demo is such a treat to see! :D And, holy crap is this pack with details, changes, and beautiful glow-ups all over the place! The characters interact more with each other, and we got mini cameos and "crossovers" with them and new songs to jam to! Love this!
