I have a Redmi Note 10 pro and before the update to Miui 14 and android 13 i simply couldnt get this to work at all (and seems it was a common issue for others too) But i decided to give it another try since i got the update to 13 and now works like a charm, i have really missed using it.

Thanks for this awesome software. Its been up and running fine but the issue i have now is running my app on it. when i choose the device from the bottom right and run, it says "Running gradle task 'assembleDebug'" and exits, nothing happens.

Question for you. I did this and my screen mirror BUT when I tried playing a video off of my NBC (TV station here in the USA) I get a black screen for the video but the sound does come through. Any idea why this is happening?

You are most welcome 🙏 You can simply use your mouse, it appears on Scrcpy screen on PC or laptop but not on real device. You can use the mouse to control the phone.

Hello! My PC is connected via LAN, my phone via WiFi. It only works as long as I keep the USB-Cable connected. When I enter the scrcpy command in the last step, it finds both, the TCP and the USB connection. I have to enter "scrcpy -e" to connect via WiFi, but it still immediately disconnects, when I unplug the USB-Cable. Of course, when trying to connect without the USB-Cable connected in the first place, the cmd response is: "error: device offline" Do you happen to know why? PS: Great video, straight to the point. No, for very first time we need all steps. Once you succeed, after that just follow these steps: 1) Connect phone to PC/laptop with USB cable 2) Note down the IP Address of phone 3) run "adb tcpip 5555" 4) Disconnect USB cable 2) run "adb connect :5555"

If both devices are in the same local area network, it will work just fine no matter if the transmission medium is wired or wireless

There might be flowing problems. 1) USB debugging may not be enabled. 2) Please check your phone when you connect. It will prompt the connection options, select MTP(Media Transfer Protocol). 3) USB cable may be faulty.

You might be using old systems. Paste the path and add comma before the path if some existing path is there. This way is called "comma seperated paths." For more information search it on RU-vid.

Yes it will work. I have explained in video about this. Same WiFi is not mandatory. When phone & laptop are no same WiFi we use local IP Address (ike 192.168.10.12) and when not we use actual or dynamic IP Address.

This should not happen, even if you use mobile hotspot to connect with laptop & use scrcpy, internet still works on both laptop and phone.
