SCREAM 4 MIGHT BE THE BEST MOVIE IVE EVER SEEN (WATCHING EVERY SCREAM PART 2) 

Emma Roberts was the perfect choice for Jill because she able to show 2 different sides one being sweet and kind person and other being and evil and sadistic person

What’s ironic is that Scream 4 is the lowest-grossing movie in the franchise. All of the other movies grossed over $100 million dollars at the box office, but Scream 4 only made $97.2 million dollars worldwide against a $40 million dollar budget.

Ghostface being the main character that is the cliché of the innocent girl was an amazing plot twist. Emma Roberts is so talented and was awesome in that movie.

Scream 4 is hands down the best Scream movie after the first one. Jill really could've gotten away with it entirely, she just got sloppy at the end in the hospital.

My biggest flex is that I called out who the killer was close to the beginning of Scream 4. Like we all know Emma Roberts can play a bitch and this movie was not gonna be the exception.

Hayden Panettiere stole the movie as Kirby for me. Even ten years later, I still think that she might be hiding, and not dead at all!

The only thing I enjoyed about Scream 3 was the fact that they showed Sidney and her trauma, how she isolated herself and the precautions she took to protect herself. Most horror movie series skip over the trauma and its effect on the final girl, but this one didn't. Outside of that it is trash lol.

Best part about Scream 4 is that it's Wes Craven's middle finger to slasher remakes, specifically the 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street remake that recreated a lot of his shots from the original but didn't ask him for any creative advice or direction. Like the people remaking the slashers, the Scream 4 killers just wanted quick and easy fame and fortune by recreating the formula of the original without any respect or understanding for what made the original movie work.

Re: Scream 3 Gale would recognize Moureen Prescott’s phot because she literally wrote the book on her murder. A random detective from LA would not recognize a photo of a teenage Moureen who at the time was going by the name Rita. 3rd Grey’s Anatomy connection. Neve Campbell played Patrick Dempsey’s sister in 3 episodes.

9:14 What makes the reveal of Roman as Ghostface suck is that with the others Sidney knew them on some level and them being the ones trying to kill her shocked her. But with Roman, a guy she's never met says he's her half brother, is jealous of her life then tries to kill her.

I've always found it odd that people looked down on Scream 4 while comparing it to "the first three". It's odd because literally only Scream 1 is good. 2 has its moments, and 3 is just a comedy that *tries* to get serious in the end, and because of the rest of the films tone, doesn't at all stick its landing. Scream 4 however actually tried new shit, progressed the main three's characters finally, and the twist with who Ghostface was, was an actual twist, while the Ghostface in 2 and 3 were extremely obvious. I remember being 13, seeing Scream 3 in theaters with my mom, and I remember explicitly that the killer in Scream 3 was exactly who I thought it was. Also, voice changers don't work like that. In a movie that isn't realistic, sure, but Scream 1 and 2 made their bones by treating their slashers as "in the real world", and in the real world of 2000, voice changers don't work that good.

I think the reason ghostface didnt kill Gale was because at the end of the movie Jill mentions how they have the same wound and also says how she cant wait for Gale to write a book with her. So i feel like it was intentional not to murder her.

Scream 4 is amazing but Kirby not being gay is such a missed opportunity. The set-up was basically there, they would've only needed to change a few lines of dialogue.

Yeah I never understood the dislike for scream 4 for people, I really enjoyed it. I enjoy all of them. Scream 3 yeah was abit eh! But it was really funny so it made up for the lack of scary scenes it didn't have, well for me at least anyway lol

Scream 3 had a different writer .. Scream 1, 2 and 4 was written by kevin williamson (guy who wrote the first 3 seasons of the vampire diaries, dawson's creek, etc) but Part 3 was done by someone else completely. Part 3 is not as good as the other ones.

The 4th one gets more hate then it deserves. I think this could have been a good jump to a whole new series of movies. The issue was some of the writing was weird. 100% agree about the scene With gale knowing who the mother is and a detective not knowing who the mother is. Her mother was the catalyst to YEARS worth of fear in what I assume is a small community. I hope we get a Chucky watch all movies next.
