Absolutely intresting to think about it, this could be the original human design Craven had in mind for Freddy. As his hairs and beard are burnt away we never knew if he had'nt long hair and a full beard. Really cool idea by Craven!
I saw this cameo the first time in 2002 and to this day i still think "yes Wes Craven i know Nightmare on Elm Steet is better than Scream, why are you reminding me?" The same with Halloween being on the tv at the party... Scream kept showing me movies i'd rather be watching and in every Scream movie i am continually more interested in the movies being refferenced than Ghostface himself who's a clutsy lunk i can't take seriously
And Tatum said to Dewey earlier when they're leaving the police station"janitor is your superior" and the janitor is played by Wes Craven who the director is also the superior to the actors and actresses
That was brilliant, I have watched this film millions of times and fuck knows how i missed it until today WTF lol I maybe did notice but just didn't think much of it at the time but today i am watching purposefully for the easter egg references to other horror flicks.
Henry’s death scene was the most realistic in all of the Scream deaths. He’s the only who said “Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow” and I remember thinking “Oh yeah. That probably hurts.” 😂
And that is the only time you'll ever see a janitor in a fedora. I got this in the 90's in the cinema but i never knew that was Wes. And before it was cool!
Scream is a guilty pleasure of mine and I've probably watched it over 10 times and I'm just now noticing Wes. How the fuck do I miss things that are right there.
I never knew Freddy Kruger was in scream until I saw the (dead meat) kill count for it. You should watch kill counts for dead meat he's very good at explaining the movie it feels almost like I'm actually watching it
