Hi. When you apply the emulsion, you are in a room with what kind of light? Could it be a normal light?

In some dim light room is okay, but do the screen making job quickly.

Hi. whats the white ink with the black? is it soft hand additive? Also what printer do you use to print out your positive?

If you are printing white ink, you may need to print 2 times. We are using HP inkjet printer to printing the artwork transparency. Are you living in London ? Then you may come to my studio, then we can discuss more about screen printing.
