Thanks for the longer videos! Baav i zoomed in on your face and i didn't see no pimples or any imperfections whatsoever. You're so perfect its like you're not even human.
Iv'e been reclaiming screens since 1976 when we used screens with real silk and I still like watching you cleaning your screens. The newer better chemicals make it even more fun.
Nicee I wasn’t even born yet haha. Glad to see you enjoy watching! I’m sure the chemicals make it way easier now than it was way back then. I appreciate your engagement!
Absolutely love the longer vids actually going into depth, showing the behind the scenes into basically what all goes into the production process mishaps and all with no hidden gems! You actually learn from watching your videos and no other channels can compare they all gatekeepers❕💯
I sincerely appreciate the step by step process you do that really helps me as I'm about to get into screen printing for the first time ever. Thank you so much can you pls do more like these?
The commentary is great bro, thanks for spending time on the reclaiming part of the process. Normally I'd wanna get my screens done and over with but now I'm invited to appreciate this process a bit more.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 I just love how detailed you are in this video. I just started my T-shirt business and watching this video make me want to go harder 💪🏾💪🏾. I’m learning how to screen print and I’m so excited 👏🏾👏🏾
I’m so happy to hear that Nickesha! I try to be detailed because I know what it’s like to not see this content back when I wanted to learn. Now putting back into the game to help people out!
I am in the beginning of my printing adventure and I got a dip tank. Made from a 30 gallon tote. When I did the scrubbing I made a decision to just do a dip tank cause of all the scrubbing. I make screen printed transfers that I heat press when on the road at sales events and I go through a bunch of screens to make them. Learned a lot from you Baav keep up the awesome work my friend.
Great video I love the detail please keep them coming! I’m just starting and definitely going to watch and rewatch your videos to get my business moving into the screen printing direction.
Thanks for these helpful videos Baav. I recently invested in a screen printing machine and these clips are a huge help. This is the type of content I would like to create as well. Keep up the good work.
Fire video, glad I found your channel. Just looking to learn about the screen printing process for some personal projects, but this video's got me feeling like I could start a whole business! Can't imagine the time and effort you put into it tho, I respect the hustle and your passion for the process
Thank you for this nice vidéo!!! slow motion and your new cam make the difrence !!! i didnt know you can wash the ink with water i use paper about like 10years... thank you for this tips!!!! much love from france
Baav, Thank you for ALL the info that you've have provided. since I took up silk screening about 1 year ago, I've been watching you for advice, direction and the know how's. I'm not full time, the goal is to be, I'm stuck in the color separation process. I have adobe illustrator, photo shop and separation studios, but i haven't been able to get a design and exactly separate the colors. If you have a suggestion or video on this, I would like to see it. Thank you and continue the hard work, you always make it look easy. Andrew
Finally i am back to your videos .. What chemistry are you using?? I use ecotex and my ink remover isn't all that. Yours was magic!! I need it!! Ink remover? Emulsion remover? Haze/degreaser? Thank you in advance -Nelle Hun
I currently rock out with a 6/6 Vastex 2000 and have been for the last 6 or 7 years. I seriously thought about getting the Anatol though. I'll use them for my auto when I do. Great looking print and good pointers. I usually print the base for registration first but I'm gonna try this new method.
@@baavproductions just cause it offers the all electric and no compressor. I'm not an operation that wants the 20k shirt order(margins shrink). Give me the 1k and less, with the occasional 3k order and I good.
Bro u should do a close up and slow motion when you rinse off the imulsion..but I love ur videos bro..I do screen printing as well but I barley started..keep up the good work ..
Great suggestion! The washout process seems to catch a lot of peoples interest so maybe I should make a video all on it with some sick slow motion shots👀 appreciate the comment my man!
I just bought that e xposure unit. Im thinking about converting to uv led but im also thinking about just buying the bulbs for it. Whats your exposure time?
Awesome print! How are you liking the Anatol press? Im thinking of upgrading here soon but im stuck in between a Riley Hopkins 300 or an anatol thunder, what do you recommend? I do a lot of sim process and my Current press just doesn't hold tight registration
Anatol press has been real solid! And that was my decision to go Riley 300 or Anatol thunder. Ended up choosing the thunder because it’s just built like a tank! What press do you use now?
Hey Baav, I'm wondering how you keep the crosshair marks on the emulsion especially when you print it. The marks are still on the screen but it doesn't show up on the screen I'm wondering how you do that, thanks!
Can I get your insight? I’m starting a clothing brand and I’m getting 30 blank Bella Canvas hoodies printed which I bought for $27 each and am suppling to the print company. I’m getting the whole design in screen puff print on the front (10 inches), back (10 inches), and sleeves (3.5 inches). Two colors total. One specially ordered color. Their charge is $120 for puff print additives, $120 for ink color, $112 for screen fees, and $22 per hoodie. So that’s $1,012 + the $810 I already spent on the hoodies. Essentially making each hoodie cost $60 just to be ready for sale. Seems like way too much especially since I’m supplying the garments. Does this seem right/normal to you? Do you have any advice on how I can lower this cost? I don’t want to have to sell my clothes for $120+
We don’t do samples at all. After seeing this video I would think you saw how much goes into just getting set up in screen printing. No way I’m doing all that just for samples
Actually I never said “oh didn’t see you there” I said “oh” if you watch and listen lol It was a natural intro of me getting the hoodies on the table to get ready for production which gives the viewer a good idea of what to expect. Thanks for your input tho
