We are on autos, but when we do hoodies we adjust the heat on the quartz flashes since hoodies heat up much quicker and less of a chance of them shrinking on press.
Most clothing has moisture we cant see...on hoodies it's best to pre heat the hoodie ..when u pre heat it does 2 things...it will shrink the shirt by taking moisture out......even on some tshirts u need to pre heat to get that cure on point...the moisture will not let shirt cure properly..I was doing guldin shirts black fnink purple and I was having curing issues...I had to bumb oven up to 340 on fnink low cure 260.......I kept getting cracking in paint..since it was a 1 color I didnt need to flash....another lesson learned in this game of screen printing...
