What fixed it for me was doing all your tips + turning OFF "Accidental Touch Protection" + re-adding my fingers prints twice (you have to press a little hard and cover the entire sensor). Thanks for the tips
Adding the same finger twice is a really good idea. Never would have thought about that. Will definitely try it when I get my new screen protector. Modern technology is really great. Being able to ask or tell people all over the world ideas and solutions is a real-life saver..lol. Thanks for taking the time to upload this.
@mameusman193 There are certain screen protectors that work great. None of the 1's with the indentation where the finger print scanner is has ever worked. I have S21 5g and I have the lifetime coverage for screen protector. Last time they didn't have the 1 for my phone. What they don't tell you is even if it's lifetime protection it doesn't mean they'll always carry it especially when phone gets old. But anyway they didn't have it I finally said f**k it and am not using 1 at all. It's been half a year or more now and screen is still pretty much perfect. I guess samsung built a quality screen on this phone. Watch it break tomorrow.....lmfao.
Yooo dude, I didn't think there is a way in the world any of this would help, but it did. I did all of the tips here and in the comments and then re added my thumb 3 times and it did work. I even turned all the settings back to normal and they are still working. S22 CONFIRMED
A tip for anyone watching this video. If you have a s22 ultra there is a very high chance that none of the tips would work. Instead I recomend that during installation of UV tempered glass you should place a coin over the fingerprint area over the tempered glass so that the glue doesn't harden over that particular area. I noticed a bubble like mark on the youtubers phone and it seems like he applied the protector this way and because of it the sensor works. Ofcource once the protector is applied and the fingerprints still doesn't work then follow his advise and register fingerprints again. Hope this helps.
What helped me after installing a Zagg protector on my S23 Ultra was deleting and re-installing my fingerprints...it's a little slower when picking up my thumb than before but it works 💪
Got my PIXEL 8 (not pro) . Finger print reader worked pretty well , not as good as old iphone but pretty good. Installed Tempered Glass Screen Protector and turned ON Screen Protector Mode in Display settings. HORRENDOUS Nightmare !!!! Unusable... Throw it away. Turned Screen Protector mode OFF. . YES turned it OFF!!! Works Great. I'll keep it.
Man thanks you save my regrets on changing to tempered glass to have a clear view on my s23u. i try the method of removing the old FP then replace it with a new FP with mu new tempered glass installed now im very mich happy but instead of 2x FP register i put 3x hehe

Bro I ruined the finger print recognition area like immediately after I bought it thinking it wasn't supposed to be there I tried wiping it off now it's not as sticky and now it's very noticeable on my screen is there any way to fix this
Does not work with SAMSUNG Galaxy S21+ ultrasonic fingerprint scanner with PanzerGlass protector. (Although ultrasonic support advertised.) Without screen protector everything is fine. Not recommended
In the end it turned out that Samsung originally applies a thin screen protector which must be removed to enable other screen protectors work fine. Now Panzerglass is doing its job well!
This is going to sound stupid as hell but try it before you register your fingerprint lick your finger. I know what that sounds like it sounds dumb but apparently the ultrasonic reader cannot read your fingerprint if your finger is extremely dry.
*I tried it on my Note 10 plus with the Screen a protector on and it came up with aessgae that I must REMOVE my screen protector to set up my Fingerprint......defeats the whole exercise!!* 😢
I tried the methods you mentioned but my problem is still there. The portion right below the front camera doesn't response well with the protector, without protector it works nicely. I am using Samsung a52s
Solución para S10+ No conseguía por ningún lado un vidrio templado para S10+, asi que decidi comprarlo en Shein. Cuando lo instalé me dejó de reconocer la huella, y pensé que ya no funcionaria más. Pero probé algunas cosas y les dejo lo que me funcionó: En Ajustes > Pantalla Deben buscar y activar la opción llamada "Sensibilidad táctil" ya que de fabrica viene desactivada. Luego borren todas sus huellas digitales y vuelvan a registrarlas (a mi me costó bastante, más o menos me tomó 10 minutos registrar nuevamente cada huella, me decia que presionara mas fuerte y ese tipo de cosas). Pero con paciencia logré registrarlas nuevamente. ES IMPORTANTE aclarar que registre 2 veces cada huella, para reducir el margen de error. Es una solución bastante sencilla, espero que a alguien le sea util. Pd. Es la versión con procesador Snapdragon, no se si sea un dato relevante, pero lo dejo por si acaso.
Hello everyone, I would like to as for advice. I ordered from Amazon a waterproof case for Samsung Galaxy S22 plus with a fingerprint circle built into the screen. It's the first product of this type that I have come into contact with, after unpacking I slightly wiped the case on both sides using the attached cloth in the package, I accidentally touched the fingerprint circle which was a sticky point and immediately peeled into fluff. I tried to somehow peel off the fluff but it was not possible. I used water with dishwashing liquid but nothing, every hair glued to the circle is visible on the running screen, especially on a white background like google YT etc. Does anyone have an idea how can this be fixed?
