true my samsung galaxy s8 got shattered by the key pressuring and the screen got scratched pretty heavily by pocket sands or some shit so i will make sure to get a glas screen protector and a spare one in case.
Yup Tempered Glass is very useful.. I dropped my Xiaomi Phone with TG in a running MotorCycle around 100mph.. My Screen survived.. Good thing i have a very hard case too..
Don't buy cheap Tempered glass screen protector like those for 50 pesos because they're gonna break easily along with your screen. But don't buy those really expensive ones either. Somewhere between 300 to 600 pesos is good enough because Tempered glass is still glass and glass will break and shatter no matter what its price is. The reason you put tempered glass screen protector on your phone because it'll be the one that shatters instead of your screen. A really cheap TG would likely be poor quality and shatter your screen as well because the screen protector didn't absorb the impact enough.
I use nano liquid glass protector and it is awesome. I only have micro scratches that I don't notice, but considering that I don't like screen protectors on my phone because they aren't really case friendly with the cases I use. I can safely say that it's the right choice for me.
I just bought a TG yesterday for my Pixel 2 from Spigen. You get 2 TG in the box. I guess it's a good idea to get one specially if you're concerned with the resell value. I'll be upgrading to the Pixel 4 as soon as it comes out so I gotta keep this phone in pristine condition.
Honestly, applying a screen protector on any electronic device with a glass screen is a artform - I pay my local phone repair guy $5 each time for him to apply these. :-)
No. Mine has microscratches that you can't really see if you look at the display. It's kind of like a liquid that goes on your phone. It works well for me because I don't like screen protectors but I want my display to be safe. It can scratch but the scratches aren't noticeable enough to ruin the display.
@Julio yeah accident happen but not on my phone btw I'm still using my note3 I bought it the year it was release and it still works and screen was never broken if ever accident happened I'll just buy a new one no need to buy those extra shit screen protector hahah
Buying Poco F1 last year..usually im buying a budget smartphone that does not have any protection on its screen..the feeling having using the Poco without screen protector..and relying on the gorilla glass is so much satisfying..just put a thick case and you're good to go..the gorilla glass is also less fingerprint magnet than i thought..as my hand usually quiet oily..
I rock my Poco F1 naked. No bulky cover, no screen protector. I think screen protectors are gimmick in the age of gorilla glasses. They get scratched easily and does nothing actually to protect screen in case of dropping and also bulk up the phone and hinders brightness of the screen. yes sometimes I use colorful covers just to feel like a new phone, that's it. I am very cautious with my phone.
I too sometimes at home only..feeling the naked body of my Poco..owh..the feel..ahaha..but when outside i usually put a case..in case something happen..
I dont use a screen protector becuase my otterbox symmetry has rubber coming up on the sides past the screen so pretty much if I drop it on a flat surface the screen will be fine
If buying a screen protector and a case are both high priorities...is it better to just buy an OtterBox case with a protective silicon and plastic case and built in screen protector?
It depends on how you use your phone in your daily life. Most people are fine with a rubber/ plastic case (like a uag plyo or a speck case) and a glass screen protector but everyone is different. See what works for you. I use a uag plyo case and a liquid glass protector and besides micro scatches on my screen protector, the phone's fine
I have a metal gold case on the side and a screen protector on the back and front they are all very effective at absorbing forces the metal on the sides actually stops the phone from fully hitting the screen and protects corners and the rest of the impact is focused on the screen protector
I got pissed at a game and chucked my phone into the the ground as hard as I could and the only damage was a shattered screen protector. The screen it’s self was fine! Of corse I had a really good case on it to. I want to know the science of How they work so well. You would think an impact like that would crack both screen and the protection
When I buy my narzo 50 pro. I love that they have a installed screen protector .I like it than tempered glass . tempered glass is not a pure glass they mix with plastic .and it's thick .not like this free screen protector so clear .the color of the screen so vivid . I love it
True story. My son's Iphone 6s plus had a tempered glass screen protector, one time he accidentally dropped it and the screen cracked. We thought the screen protector was damaged so when we took it off to install another one we were surprised the Iphone screen was the actual one that cracked- the tempered one didn't!
if you drop your phone, try using your foot to soften the fall, it'll obviously still hit the floor but with less speed and angle, if you use a case, the case will absorb the remaining impact and might scratch but your screen won't crack, do this no matter if you have a screen protector or not, I know it sounds silly but I have never had a cracked phone and I've been doing this since forever
After i drop my phone last last month lol hindi nako bumili another tg.. although kahit gorilla glass yung phone ko well inaasahan ko na talaga may mga scratches every time i put in my pocket and i realize maganda pala yung screen pag walang protection lol🤦😄😄😄
I had a tempered glass installed on my huawei y9 prime 2019. Tapos after a few days parang nag moist sa may taas na part parang di na ganun ka dikit yung tempered glass. Dalawa nang tempered glass na installed ko. Dito yung isa 150 pesos yung isa is 200.
@@Sarahonwheels it's like in the top right corner edge. It's also really small most of the screen still crack free. I never touch the screen up there. Im just deciding because since the screen already cracked the value already fell.
@@Sarahonwheels any reason why you would keep it? Just curious . Also I do have Samsung Care so I will probably end up replacing my whole phone in like a 8 months or when the phone screen becomes too scratched up that's why I was thinking about not using with screen protector.
@@defaultkarn634 no i would keep the screen protector on until you go to repair it so that you don't cut yourself using the phone accidentally. When you get it repaired, you take it off beforehand. That's what I meant. If you are not going to repair it, take it off.
I use tempered gass at the month of March. How many months should I replace my tempered glass ,Its still attchaede to my phone right now(Aug 28) hirap mag english Wala p talagang basag ung tempered q hanggang ngayun, hndi kc aq magalitin,It has been 5 months now. My classmate said ,his phone had a 1 year tempered glass attached to the phone, when they replace it ,The guy said ,It shouldnt be attached there too long
Skl
Use screen protector pag lagi nasa bulsa or bag ang cp..pero pag laging hawak or nasa bahay lang at di nillgay sa bag or pocket then NO NEED to use screen protector para mafeel mo padin ung pagka oleophobic coating ng cp or pagkaglass nya. Based toh sa experience ko since im using gorilla glass 3 on my phone, ive never use screen protector kc di ko nmn nillgay sa bag or pocket..
I never used a tempered glass sa iphone x ko mula nung binili ko siya.
Meron akong TG installed on my Redmi Note 7.
First thing i do, remove the factory plastic screen protector and use the phone as is. Nothings beat the feeling of directly touching the screen with no obtrusive protectors. But that's my preference.
@@cep21 I don't like my phone scratched up, and larger scratches make the display easier to crack. After 1 or 2 years of use with no screen protector on, the screen will be pretty scratched up.
i actually hate using screen protectors, especially tempered glass, the smoothness of screen and tempered glass is noticably different, lalo na sa typing and gaming. mabilis kasi ako ma type, madali ako ma typo kapag naka tempered glass, bawas na bwas ung sensitivity kahit di naman ganun kakapal ung tempered ko, hirap din sa games especially mobas, minsan di mapindot and hindi smooth sa joystick. siguro plastic once pwede na, and kapag naka tempered glass mas maraming glare sa screen 🤧 yun nga lang extra ingat kasi i prefer using my phone naked talaga
Hate installing screen prot. on my device, diko ma feel ang espiritu ng aking telepono pag naka screen prot. skl.

Tsk tsk hindi man sinabi types ng tempered kung edge adhesive lang, full adhesive, or liquid based adhesive, then kung may oleophobic coating or non-coated. Research - research naman yugatech
You're right. But we didn't elaborate so we could cover everything quickly 🙂 If you guys want, we can do a separate Quickly Explained video just for different types of tempered glass.
@@zanjisu because these guys won't accept I drop my phone a lot it broke and I didn't cry you must accept that it's broken like real mens not like stupid noobs with their 1000$ iPhone i have a bughet phone and I'm fine with it
