I can fix this. Reduce the size of the Federal Government and pay down the debt!

Congressional salaries should not be higher then the average middle class salary in their respective states. We should start there. Make them live like we live.

My wife and I will retire in 2033 & it makes me sick to see sll these young people (many who seem healty enough to work) and who never contributed to social security. 1 young woman who I know claims to have anxiety issues. I see her travel all over and party every weekend. The state subsidies her home, her power bill and groceries. My wife and I have paid into the system for more than 40 years each and now we are being told that we will recieve a fraction of what people collect now.

Put this man in charge of it. He knows what he is talking about and he can help change things. But the politicians are all too corrupt to do this.

This man is so frustrated with the government bureaucracy being stupid, greedy, and uncontrolable its hard to watch. I have paid into Social Security since I was 18, years old. I am nearing 76 soon. For 47 years they have taken from my checks. Us old folks need it. I pray its there for my son when he retires.

Austerity measures need to be implemented immediately for every department, all agencies, some shut down, completely defunded. Fire or layoff 50 to 80% of government workers. We are on the path to bankruptcy.

If you look at the debt clock, SS and Medicare are shown at the bottom right of the screen. Listed under unfunded liabilities, SS underfunded by 26.5 Trillion . Medicare underfunded by 40.7 Trillion THIS is what I am looking at!
