@@devilfm8490 More like ya gotta buncha 18-20ish year old KIDS trying to talk like they're actually grown up, and like they're really "bout that life" and been through so much, when they ain't even gotten out their Mamaw's spare bedroom yet 😂😂😂 Scrim really HAS lived "that life" dude. Went from a young, up-and- coming producer with a shitty deal, through a major label, that went nowhere, had to reevaluate his goals...winds up catching a habit off opioids and struggled with it on-and-off for more than a decade...was robbing people off Craigslist, and ruining all of his friendships and familial relationships chasing that next fix... Despite all of that, him & Ruby manage to get $B's up and running, and turn G*59 into one of the best and most promising independent labels in the entire underground. He's busted his ass and earned EVERYTHING he has rn...by not giving up, realizing their music has actually saved lives, and he ultimately got his addiction in check, which is probably the craziest part of his entire story. So naw, he's not, "almost 40 talking like an 18yr old"...he's Scrim, talking like he's SCRIM, and speaking on what he's actually done and been through.
“Underground hip-hop is an umbrella term for hip hop music that is outside the general commercial canon. It is typically associated with independent artists, signed to independent labels or no label at all”
@@B.Wrecks yeah dog just because scrim isnt signed to a label doesnt mean hes underground. everyone knows these mfkas everywhere u go. thatd be like trying to say macklemore or chance the rapper are underground.
@@plopss just because everyone knows them doesn’t mean they’re not underground. You won’t hear them on the radio or mainstream, that’s why they’re underground. A cult like fanbase also makes them underground. Your analogy doesn’t make sense those dudes are hella mainstream , even got Grammys
The opposite of underground is mainstream. Wiz Khalifa is mainstream. Curren$y is not. Both have amazing music and similar vibes they just have a different audience and a different following/fanbase
