About the event thing and fans - if that does become a thing, I think it is important to also offer different levels of the ticket like festivals do. Because, as Scripe said, I doubt there are many people who just want to sit there for 7 days and need a hotel, as well as a PC provided for them. Probably most people would just be interested in M&G party or something. I go to Sweden often and for the duration of this race I was there again, would be cool to visit and drop off a gift/donation/say hi/whatever else.

About the sponsorship and general public expectation. WoW has kind of comeback in regards to viewership due to SoD and Hardcore Servers. This will for sure result in more people interested in World First race. When you guys check the numbers hopefully you will get better sponsor deals and get more money for the team. Make sure your gamers start hanging out with people IRL now already so they build up their immunesystem before the next race! Maybe send them to spend a week at a kindergarden? 😂Oh and give free flu-shots. And provide ginger shots every morning at the venue 😊

One really cool perk would be to get them a jersey with their name on it, and let them play with the people that are on the bench. That way it gives the bench players something to do and the fans get to interact with members of echo in a way that feels part of the race. Maybe do groups that run heroic side by side and the winning group gets a reward or something.

The sleep is overrated take was the most cooked take ive ever heard lol. There is very few people in the world who can actually function at full potential at low amount of sleep there is so many studies on the matter lol.

Gotta disagree with your take on sleep. Sleep is so important. It is far, far more important than most realize. I don't think it's even an argument, you would play better with more sleep. Though I do agree that there is a crunch time in which you just have to go for the kill.

To be fair, sleep is individual. If Scripe works great on 6 hours of sleep, good on him. Those people exist. But MOST people need 7.5 hrs a night to function optimally, some people need more, up to 12 hrs.

Most people realize that sleep is important. Any indigenous person knows this. There are cultures with sleep built in to the day such as siestas in Mexico. Any first world country teaches its children that sleep is important. Most of the world's population knows that sleep is important. It's common knowledge.

Don't really appreciate someone who's going to be watched by blizzard shitting all over the feral spec which has been criminally neglected by them for the last 10 years in PVE. It also wasn't that feral had THAT much more damage than boomy- although it did. It was that they are 2x as tanky for high raidwide prog damage + they can cast innervate now. For like 10 years we've had a dynamic where because Boomy is viable its OK for feral to suck ballsack. Feral needs to be considered it's own spec alongside melee. Not just an acceptable casualty because "boomys good" or resto is good.
