~ This Album ~
There is no official way to distinguish the two Piano Collections by name, other than specifying this is from the Premium Box. This came first than the one simply named PC:FF11, featuring the same composers, arranger and performers. Some people say the music of FF11 is underrated. Yes indeed to me, maybe the community here are more familiar to the single-player games. Quite a number of FF11 OSTs give goosebumps for fresh listeners actually.
However, there are always variants. Personally I don't feel satisfied about this album. On surface "there's no point to listen to this with .flac at all." I don't know why the same company could record so well since 2002 in the albums of X, X-2 and VII but this 2007 album couldn't even caught up VIII. Go on to the core, yes I'd agree with critics that it's too simplistic. Not that of Shiro Sato, but a pop and heavily repeated style. The accompanying patterns bring little freshness and surprise, and added on with a very excessive use of repeating markings, which means part of the music is exactly repeated. The point is, long repeats are present in every single track, and 6 out of 10 have D.S. and Coda pairs. With these exact-same repetitions, it'd be hard to effectively develop the music. One last, this CD really leaves way too much empty space.

~ About the Project ~
There are many people here who do play the piano. To these people, these piano arrangements then doesn't only worth at listening to, but also reading the score. At least for me, I enjoy reading the score while listening to them very much. I can look at what's exactly going on in the music.
Since there is no one doing the scrolling score presentation of the Final Fantasy Piano Collections / Opera series, I'm taking this project then. More coming soon!
