There's this book called Reading the World, Contemporary Literature from Around the world, it basically explores literature from all over the continents and in the African section, they cover so much African Literature. Some schools use that as their English teaching book. But if you take AP Literature, there would be an option to choose one book out of a list to read and thoroughly analyze, Things fall apart is on there. Most of the English teachers in America know about it.

Knox mispronounced "Chinua" but DAMN. Knox is so intelligent. "Things Fall Apart" is my favorite book and was written by Chinua Achebe; It is set up into 3 parts in 3rd person omniscient about the colonization of Nigeria (Solely focused on Okonkwo but not his inner thoughts). The first part provided how there was order between the three tribes. 2. The invasion of white colonizers and forcing their religion on them. 3. Okonkwo having been exiled and coming back to see his culture, literally, falling apart. Much respect for Knox for being able to make the greatest Cultural Relativism book ever a bar in a diss track
