Another tip/fact about your hedgehog/any hedgehogs: 1. When giving him a bath, he cannot ever be spotless or perfectly clean. It is almost impossible so do not worry about him not being perfectly clean. 2. You should be giving him 1 tbsp of hedgehog food mix or small cat food pellets. 3. His enclosure should be at least 2 feet long and 1 foot wide for a happy life for your little companion. 4. Take him out everyday to gain some bonding experience they like to explore and to smell your scent. 5. Put a dirty shirt of yours into his enclosure so he gets used to your scent. 6. Do not use so much soap per bath as it can hurt the hedgehogs spines. (The little ball where it is attached to his back) 7. In order to pick him up easily, try to pick up some of the bedding with him and picking him up from the bottom. 8. Every once and a while try to feed him mealworms or crickets. Do not feed him live super worms as it is known for super worms to chew their way out of the hedgehog (while inside being digested) 9. Try to give him a small variety of food instead of normal cat food. Put some strawberries or scrambled eggs in there. (No seasonings added) 10. Hedgehogs love and I mean really love to dig. So if you could get him a little spot to dig in, with sand or just small Pom poms. It would make him very happy. 11. The finally tip is you should have some sort of chewable toys (not rubber or anything like that, but something cotton or Pom poms) Hope you take this advise. :) Edit: changed tsp to tbsp

Hey tip: Put one of your shirts in his habitat so he gets use to your sent cause I did that with my new and she is super chilled after that as they adapt to your sent

Hedgehogs are very sensitive to sound in that most ball up or prickle when they hear new or loud noises. ... The sudden noise of talking, doors opening and closing and general noise of being in the room may be irritating to the hedgehog if a hedgehog is accustomed to silence. I think that's why he keeps jumping cause you're a bit too loud for him

As a hedgehog owner I recommend not giving him too many baths as the have very sensitive skin, I advise bathing him around once a month but foot baths are okay to do a bit more frequently. But other than that you seem to be looking after him great!
