Aaron Krause, the founder of Scrub Daddy, managed to create a multi million dollar business out of a seemingly simple sponge. Follow Franklin Broke for more interesting content!
You are the one who actually forgot. Daymond and Kevin made offers before Lori. The only reason he got double of what he was asking for is because daymond was a G and bidded with Lori to get it up. Kevin's deal wasn't half bad either.
@@littlepenguinowo1819 I won’t argue it’s been years since I saw shark tank. I just vaguely remember a couple of the sharks not liking the idea very much
Dude wth do you mean by that?,lol If he just made any type of sponge he would have probably not even gotten to be on shark tank and become a millions worth product. ,The sponge has high resistibility, adapts to its envinroment and the temperature which its in, and has a material that easily lets its scrub, all for 3-4$ This is what makes it great for cleaning in your normal household
@@bleakyplaysgames dude, is it really that hard to read and understand two comments? This shark pitch didint just make the same sponge which is used in our everybody day life, he literally invented a substitute material to make a look alike of a sponge that behaves and adapts to its environment If he made a "sponge" that people use everyday in their life, what would be new and why would he be so succesful
Actually, i am still waiting to hear it. I know how much he now is valued, but don't know whether he still works there or what he is doing now. So if you say "what he is doing now", then DO SAY IT.
No lie I use a scrub daddy sponge as a loofah in the shower. I'm not going to lie it's very tough the first time but just power through and you'll have the softest smoothest skin ever! South Koreans and Japanese have been using a washcloth that is very similar in texture for years.
Noone should forget the guy who founded the comapny " ring " , they thought it was stupid in 2012 and then he rebounded and made huge bank , he is now a shark, one of the richest too.
Bro as he walked in and showed his product you have to realize everything is perfect. He loved his product, it was a good product and he had the ability to present his company very professional and knew everything to every question. If i would be rich i would invest in him too he seemed like THE GUY for a scrub kitchen sponge company.
It's pretty obvious with hindsight now isn't it? Now say that back in 2010 instead of using hindsight bias to say something was obvious. Of course anything would be obvious in hindsight
No I'm not gonna lie that sponge is going to clean your toughest tough iron pan!! And now I see scrub daddies and every hotel room I've stayed in that has a Kitchen
the guy had great idea and someone who knew how to spot and support great idea ,the woman who invested in his company became millionaire by making similar kitchen and daily products such as scrub daddy is .
Ngl, the scrub daddy can clean the toughest of stains... Lori being a dishwasher *herself* , knew exactly how much money the scrub daddy would make, thus, she made a perfect investment and made millions out of it
Lori may get roasted a lot by the other dudes but she did technically make the best investment. QVC and infomercials work despite how they're outdated to the new generations. Old people have the most money I guess...
So amazing I pooped myself. I called my bestfriend and told him, then he pooped himself I got home from work and told my wife, then she pooped herself. I took my wife out to dinner, told the waitress, she pooped herself. The manager overheard the conversation, he pooped himself The janitor came to clean it up and asked the manager why he pooped himself, the manager told him, then the janitor pooped himself. A bus full of senior citizens came in and asked why does it stink in there, I told them, they all pooped theirselves! Please take this video down for the sakes of everyone's underwear!
This is true entrepreneurial strategy. Don’t have to reinvent something new, but improve something we might overlook in our everyday lives. Brilliant. If I have extra money, I’ll buy the scrub daddy over the store brand sponges any day. My last scrub daddy lasted a few months and was still going strong
It's crazy the amount of random things that made so much money. I genuinely believe all the dumb ideas are taken and there's no competing with the current shelf products
