I wonder how much Zach Braff loved doing Scrubs. The writers just lined up one gorgeous love interest after another for him. Sarah, Chalke, Heather Graham, Mandy Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Elizabeth Bogush, Tara Reid, Amy Smart, Sarah Lancaster and of course, who could forget his greatest love interest Donald Faison
Zack Braff had a huge admiration for the shins. Braff directed a movie called golden gate which he was also the main actor in. It also features this song, New Slang. Braff’s character is told in the movie “You gotta listen to The Shins. It’ll change your life”

Yet another life lesson from Scrubs. This show has the best morals and ethics , of any show, that was ever on television, ever. Now on TV it's just sex appeal and beer. Nothing as good as this anymore.
This was the last real show that I affiliated with on TV. Things have sadly changed so much from that not too distant past. I am glad that I completely entrenched myself in the show and took the lessons with me.
Really wish they didn't make her just disappear. It did leave to one of my favorite episodes, but still, I think they should've brought her back down the road.
They should’ve brought Alex back in a later season to be JDs find a love interest. Elliot is fine but their dynamic in the show just goes all over where is Alex had some real potential minus her personal problems
I really liked that girl as J.D.'s girlfriend. I feel there's a little too much judgment given about her addiction, and the message isn't that she needs help, but that's a "bad person". Addiction is a disease and needs to be treated as such. Dismissing it as someone being bad because they are addicted to something, is not the correct route to go.
Not sure she was 'bad', but she mislead him.. Unless they find a 'causal' agent (something that is removed from 'free will') addiction is not a disease. It's a choice. Now that doesn't make her 'bad', weak maybe? In a doctors world that just would not work..so she disappeared. Literally. I found that very sad, addicts are a dime a dozen. That's life.
And 'yes' I agree.. addiction does need to be treated. I in no way feel people addicted to anything should be subject to humiliation nor meanness. They should be helped.
JD was mad because she lied to him and stole from the hospital but he did try to help her. The writers just wrote her out of the show quite unceremoniously where they could have explored her addiction more. A missed opportunity.
i've always thought she was waaaaay hot too. even now when all we get is her voice on rick and morty... besides being gorgous, she's just fun and funny. bet it'd be alot of fun to smoke a joint with her and play lazertag ;P
This song is also on "Garden State" and I'm pretty sure Zach Braff is for something about it ! He has good music's taste for motherfucking goddamn sure about that !
idk if anyone who played spiderman 2 is here but really odd coincidence this song is used in both of these series during a part where the characters learn about balance
Small reminder: Barely one episode after this JD is banging Elliot, one and a half episodes later he is dating Elliot and two episodes later he and Elliot are seperated. I did not predict any of that at this very moment, when I first watched this episode
