Helena Black as amazing as this scene is there is nothing more amazing and emotional than knowing you and your spouse are expecting and then holding the little one for the first time. This scene reminds me of how amazing those moments were in my life.
I completely and utterly agree. Here's Dr Cox's usually mean, cruel and not fun to be around but then Carla announces her pregnancy and Doctor Cox has the biggest smile on his face. By the way I absolutely love your name it reminds me of Young Frankenstein
2:10-2:16 I love the part when Carla hugs Keith cause they would usually see each other in the hospital and they were good co-workers that scene is what got me is when Carla hugged him as a sign of friendship
When they are all huging it just shows when something really important happens, all the characters really care for each other despite the face they usually put on.
this is undoubtedly one of my favourite moments in scrubs.. the other would be My Lunch from season 5. The song in the background goes perfect with the vid.. and i love how JD says " Yeah we are" .. :)
I cried when I saw this (the episode's playing on my TV right now xD) because even Per-Per was happy. I mean he hugged her for Petes sake, Bet you JD wished he was the one being hugged...there's always sneak hugs. *JD sigh*
Yes, in fact it's one of my fav...Christian Bands, Kutless "All of the Words" All Of The Words lyrics With all of the words in all of my life that could never explain and never describe All of my love, which is nothing to hide so I lift up my hands and I worship I worship You
Probably one of the best scenes in the series. The way everyone is just so happy and hugging, kissing, shaking hands just shows how much they loved each other.
I love this show so much because it's so hilarious yet has such deep and beautiful parts. And they're not afraid to have a song about God in there. That takes guts nowadays.
I'm pretty sure that's Christian music in the background. Yes? Also, because I saw this comment, the reason Elliot slapped her boyfriend is because she told Carla that they broke up. The reason she said this to Carla is because she needed an explanation of why she started crying every time she saw Carla. The real reason being because she was so happy that Carla was expecting. Lol, clearly, I enjoyed this show... Also, did anyone else cry during that scene, or was it just me? :)
Love it when jd puts the janitor on blast for telling lies. like he's fed up n finally had enough. plus at the end what r the chances they all gave off at that moment? even keith?! still... great ending. my 3rd fav after my lunch n my screw up
Scrubs if nothing else made a great showcase of using Pop Music in your episodes. I can't think of many shows aside from a few on MTV in the 90's that consistently tried to utilize regular music you'd hear as part of the program, and most episodes that did that had bits hit so much harder for it.
Not even of the decade cause this moment is from a decade and a half ago or so. That’s how historic this is, because their relationship set the standard for all other tv shows to fail to meet forever. 🥺
This is one of the best "Scrubs" moments ever!!! I love this episode so much!!! I love it when Elliot slaps Keith, lmao!!! This was the first time I ever heard "All of the Words" by Kutless, what a beautiful song!!!
Other doctors on call. It's a big hospital. These are just the ones we follow. Cox JD and Elliot are just three medical attendings. Turk and Todd are two surgeons on staff. Carla and Laverne are two of the multitude of nurses who work there. Keith is an intern who's not currently on call
I love the way they subvert your expectations of how relationships will form on this show. You meet Turk and JD and you see Turk the good looking, athletic, charming guy you figure he's gonna be a ladies' man. But it's the opposite. He immediately meets Carla and they remain together
Scrubs was the only tv series that could use a Christian worship song to express an amazing moment in television. You watch it and not realize the song that is playing.
