So glad to see one of the 2 artists that carried the whole fandom on their backs for over 10 years finally playing the game they’ve waited for so long

I could hear the genuine happiness and excitement in the start

He honestly sounds like he’s about to cry from happiness in the beginning, We’re all so glad the game is finally out after 10 years

its only upon watching you play this that i realized that the colors of *everything* relating to the rescue corps is tied to the color of space suit you chose. I chose orange, and all the suits of the rescue corps, my little spaceship, the big spaceship, and oatchi's collar were all orange, while for you, they're blue! i love that so much

The moment pikmin 4 was announced I immediately became super giddy for you to make multiple videos geeking out on the sound design. I’m now overjoyed that i get to watch you play it too!!

This game is such a treat to play blind. The world is full of mystery and there is just so much to discover! You never know when you'll encounter your next Pikmin type, a new onion, an onion expansion, a new castaway, a new Dandori battle, a Dandori cave, just a regular cave, a new treasure, or a new entry to your Piklopedia! Not to mention, on top of the main overworld and many caves hidden about with missions and whatnot, there are the night expeditions that change the genre of the game into a tower defense game with multitasking elements! Not to mention the secret hidden mode at the end of the game that will surely please any fan of Pikmin 1!

hearing scruffy speak off script is such a perfect display of his passion and excitement! the way he pauses to come to the right words, and puts the perfect amount of personality into his narration. its!! idk its just very cute to me. 🥰 also why did pikmin fans not tell me olimar had such a deep voice???? hello??

Hearing you immediately call out the little motifs and sounds from the different pikmin games was so impressive to hear! Even if they were as small as sound effects! It's not too much of a surprise knowing you study sounds as a hobby/career, especially pikmin sounds.

I won’t lie, I cried my ass off when the game was announced and cried some more listening to the menu music. That music KNOWS we’ve waited so long for this and is a “long time no see” that has never made me feel so sentimental and nostalgic in my life

Straight off the bat it honours all three games and their music design. The different games all have unique and amazing qualities and this game shows it all off before you even get past the tutorial.

OH HELL YES. As someone who's played a bunch of Pikmin 4 and was reminded of my Pikmin (and gaming music) love by your channel, I'm very excited to hear your raw thoughts.

4 in terms of game feel and improvements to previous features in the games, has the be the best out of the franchise. I honestly love the fact that they limit you to 3 Pikmin types, especially in caves because they can design the environment, hazards and puzzles with 3 Pikmin types in mind. (No spoilers) I 100% the entire base game but I know there is some side content and some post game secretes I haven’t found yet. But I enjoyed all the time I spent 100%ing the game!!!

"No one ever knows why the shipwrecks happen" Honestly, I've started quietly headcanoning that it's because of all the space junk that we, as humans, put into orbit over time. There's several tons of metal and stone surrounding our planet that's all built at human sizes, potentially crumbling into smaller chunks if it's far enough in the distant future, so it's easy to imagine tiny tiny spaceships would get banged up just for getting close.

i know this is a month late, but i just recently got into the pikmin series a week ago through pikmin 4. it’s so amazing, especially the music. it’s fun watching others play pikmin 4 for the first time too! :D
