Excellent video! As I have been really looking into both the Micro and SCT43 frames, I have been noticing the fine details that the SCT43 frame offers. The grip is outstanding. Love it. The OEM parts is a huge plus. Then again I replaced the OEM trigger which was not bad at all. If I didnt have the TP trigger laying around, I would be ok rockin the factory trigger. The Micro trigger. Yeah aside from it failing after only 50ish rounds, it just doesnt feel good. Funny you and I released a comparison video on the same day. Great minds think alike. 🤙🏼
Once I get mine I will probably replace the trigger. The SCT isn't bad for an OEM, better then the one in my OEM. It is pretty funny how we both released our compression video nearly the same time.
This is an awesome presentation and the perfect option, bro! I hesitate to use "excellent" in case Sootch owns that term. I have to look into this one thanks to you. Also, you are the first of all reviewers to show offhand shooting, which is my main concern with a lot of the newer subs and micro categories of offerings! Great video.
😁 Thanks for the kind words, brotha. I do carry the G48 once in a while, and when I picked this up, the grip panels were the first thing I noticed. So when I was considering things for this video, I wanted to show the that the texture works and works well. Dare I say better then both the other options🤔... Why yes, yes in would.
Excellent comparison of the frames. I purchased the SCT 43sc frame and all of you need to know that not all OEM parts made will fit the SCT. For example, the Tango Down Steel Tactical Magazine Catch #GMR-007S, is too wide and slides rearward on the left side catching on the grip thus preventing one from pushing in the release with the thumb. The Tango Down Magazine Slide Release however, works perfectly. I do not know which steel magazine catch will work at this time.
Great review/ comparison gang🔥 someone on eBay makes 3D printed back straps for the 43x frame and they fit well on the sct frame with a little modification💯
The SCT and MIcro dagger By Far are Stronger frames, their frames have carbon in the Polymer mix make them stronger, Glock you can Bend them twist them and pinch them, Hard to beat them and priced Better.
@tylerkorbal6939 LOL I would have loved to have tested it with a PSA mag, but after ordering a Micro Dagger from them and getting the service and response, they have lost this guy as a customer for life. It works with a Shield and OEM just fine.
I've seen Glock frames for about $40-$50 recently (stripped)... so they can probably be found complete for about the same cost as the SCT frames. The stripped SCT frames are about $50 too... so I'm just assuming that the completed frames should cost the same. Otherwise, it might be better to just buy the frames and the lower parts kits separately.
I have two of these. They need some hand tuning. I’ve noticed that the rails are set about 1/2mm taller than an OEM Glock 43x frame. This was causing an issue with the connector not reliably resetting the trigger. Near 100% failure rate on one frame and about 1 in 20 on the second frame. Had to bend the connector ear upwards and the entire connector bar to the right hand side of the frame. Works 100% so far, but want to run another 200 rounds through each before I call it good.
Do you have psa micro mags? If so do you struggle to get the mags in when they are fully loaded and the slide is locked back? Because I sadly do. Instead of the mag sliding in with little to no pressure I have to force it in there. It’s harder to put the mag in with the slide locked than with the slide forward.
I don't because I live in a mag cap state but I have recently heard of PSA mags being to long.. Imagine that another QC issue. You might search it on RU-vid but from what I've gathered you'll need to polish off the top a bit. Like I said search it and see what you can find.
I already looked it up and I couldn’t find anything on it. I shaved a bit on one of the 6 mags I got and it didn’t seem to work. It only does it with my sct I have a 43x a micro dagger and the sct is the only one having this issue.
Wish they made one that took P365 magazines and/or Hellcat, GX4, etc... and I especially wish they made 80% versions. With the supreme court rulings, I can't believe some cowards still won't produce them. JSD literally stopped producing the MUP-247 like days after they got a favorable ruling from the supreme court and has been cowering ever since. Now all the people that lost money paying for the pre-release are screwed and there's just no reason for it.
It’s a “micro-compact,” the 48 is just a skinny 19. The 26 is a subcompact. I guess calling the 43 a “micro-subcompact” would make sense? Are any brands putting out a factory chopped 48/43x to take shield arms s10 mags?
Not that I know of. 43 Micro subcompact, 43x micro compact, and the 48 Micro.. I guess. 🤔 the 48 isn't quite a skinny 19 it doesn't hold 10 rounds. I would compare it more to a 17 and 34.
@@DeltaD80 with shield or PSA mags, the 48 and the 19 would both have 15 round flush mags. The 19 and the 48 are virtually the same dimensions except width. “Micro” really came into play once the “width” of double stacks got skinny. The 43x is a wild card, it would be like running a 26 slide on a 19 frame. Its a micro, with a compact frame, and a subcompact slide. Cr920 and s10 chop, create a 10rd “micro” (skinny) version of the 26.
@Optimization_Coach huh, I've seen more dead triggers with P.S.A than the SCT. Still would take an SCT over a P.S.A or an OEM, especially now that you can get them stripped.
