The whirlpools throughout that place are caused by the river's current flowing through all the original penstocks and such. I absolutely LOVE the footage you guys got but that's a terrifying swim.

16:30 it's just the pulley for an exhaust fan. There's a fan in that duct spinning from air convection causing it to spin.

Nice video, although I would have liked to have seen more of the dam, especially the footage from the flooded areas. I'm not much of a ghosts enthusiast though, I just like old buildings.

RU-vidr Franko TV went there and also got a figure in that exact same spot. This is the third or fourth channel I have seen catch a figure in that same spot. He also caught audible children's laughter in the tunnels under the dam. So did Justin of the channel Visually Creeped.

We went out there and from the second we got near the dam we felt such a sick ill feeling come over us and we felt nauseous and depressed all around the dam. So much that I asked my husband to try and get us out of there asap. It is a horrible place to be! We prayed for protection the whole time!

I spent summers near there as a child and adult. I remember the hospital when it was open my great uncle died there. It was off then. Went out in the boat there many times. The last time I went out on the ramp to take pictures of a hawk flying. I got so dizzy I fell. I believe it's cursed always have since I was a child.

Who cares about the ghosts. The putt putt course next to it is the best part about marion county! Been wanting to explore hales before a while now. Great video so far.

dude I love the music in this a lot. It fits the haunted theme but its energetic as well. Also the batman, robin an joker thing was hilarious. Really cool Place. Was it hard to get in or get permission to go in?

Yeah man I thought the music fit it good. I found the music on Audio Jungle. The Batman thing was unintentional but indeed up being pretty funny. We went and met the tour company. They liked us and told us they wanted us to dive in the lower part of the dam. I would like to go up there again sometime and do a follow up video

I would love to check out Malpique. Maybe we could shoot a dive episode sometime together. A friend told me about a place close to Hilton Head close to a dock where they where finding Gold Spanish coins. We said he knew the exact dock. Ever since then I have wanted to check it out
