It really is - by far my favourite dive and far more interesting than the foreign diving I've done with billions f aquarium fish visible for miles, seems more personal somehow and the reduced species numbers are easier to identify. Water temp is about 18-19 degrees in July and august when it''s clear so a 5mm wetsuit is okay (as a minimum though I use a 7mm semi most of the time) and being shallow you get exstended diver times of 60-90 minutes on a 12l without having to go into deco.
