There is this player who always hosts his/her own lobby. Plays a lightweight AC with Scudder, Turner & BML-G1 P31DUO-02. Thats it, thats his/her setup. I used a dual rensetsu with dual BML-G1 P20MLT-04 lightweight build. I will lose to him/her every time. Only times i won is when i use a close range dual laser pistol build. Or those heavy weight Buerzel meta cancer builds. Still he/she kites exceptionally well. He/she will Assault boost pass me whenever i assault boost towards him/her, making it not very easy to catch up. With the upcoming patch, this player will do even better and i feel he/she deserves it. It takes more skill kiting and dodging Heavy Buerzel Assault boosters. Buerzel is getting nerf, now hopefully it would take better timing and planning to catch using Buerzels.

A few optimizations: 1) if you’re looking to redline, your en recharge affects your supply recovery recharge speed. This is why I use NGI 20C with Nacht. Nacht core QB adjustment also gives 3 quickboosts after a supply recovery instead of only two. 2) if you’re close to gen bust and you’re high enough that it takes over 2 seconds to hit the ground and your opponent is falling, it is better to gen bust. Especially with Trueno, as Trueno won’t interrupt supply recovery AND it will stop your falling inertia. So you can gen bust with a one of those crazy NGI QBs, and then stop your falling with trueno. By then your energy should be back as well 3) if you can, leverage soft lock in close quarters. WLT will net around a .3s lock on time in 0-120 which is a HUGE improvement over the .8 or so you’ll have with hard lock. With scudders, this will make a huge difference when fighting any mid range users who are lazily crutching on hard lock Scudders are awesome, I am super excited for the patch and to see some new builds!

another great video, I really like that, while in Armored Core, historically, *HALF OF THE SKILL IS IN THE GARAGE*, you pass that onto us, there are many people like me that love the game that still dont quite get it totally when it comes to builds and stats lol and then you show off the other half of the skill in the sick gameplay demonstration, it's just an idea but, maybe like with the Firmeza Core that you said "it sucks... BUT IT HAS ITS USES" if you run out of ideas you could do builds for/with niche pieces that seem to have bad stats unless you combine them with the right parts (personally I like that in AC it is more meta to not be a dumbass when building your mech than everyone having to use specific pieces... and with the patches that becomes more and more of a thing in this game)

Scudders have been an incredibly slandered weapon ever since their buff. They are basically a meta check - If your build can beat it, it's a good meta build. Love using them, can focus on just moving and dodging.

should be running the coral generator. use the missiles when it redlines, holds you in place. Also, simultaneous fire is getting nerfed tomorrow. It's confusing, but the supply adjustment affects how fast it starts to charge, not how much it supplies.

I thoroughly enjoyed that last match, I used laser pistols and drones a lot during playthrough, only had to swap out drones for a select few missions, I just love the visuals and honestly the laser pistols are op, you should try a build with them sometime if you haven't already, great content you got a new sub keep up the good work...

"Don't stagger your shots" didn't age well, but this build did. It's still very solid.

I also have a scudmuffin build. It also looks really cool and is just fun and satisfying to shoot

The six cell two-way launcher is really good, but I think the alt version is better for pvp because it forces the target to move in a straight line for much longer.

Fucking excited for the new patch tomorrow. New weapons, new parts, new maps, new rankings, feels good.

The drone guy at the end of the needs to work on his primary weapons to capitalize with the drones. I have a very similar old build, and the key difference between his and mine is that I'm running dual duckets. Once the enemy gets staggered, they eat a substancial amount of drone shots, which can be really deadly.

Thanks for the build video. Love seeing dudes running dual rifles. Not enough people are wringing out their potential. A LW biped kite build really should've been able to take your RJ variation. The one pilot's choice of back equips wasn't not optimal at all. He couldn't keep up your DPS because he chose the plasma verts and the shield disables the L Ransetsu from firing. He wasn't piloting that thing all that well, either.

Awesome, same build, except for your missle - i uses earshot. Yes people sleeping on rifles. I loved them for kiting distances. I use this build against those pesky wheelchair bazooka build

ARs got buffed again and the scudders are actually good now for the first time in their existence. Tried a similar build with duel scudders and the javelin and I won 8/10 matches. Hardest opponents were pistol builds.

those majestics are almost always a guaranteed hit on ground, even if you're using the lightest weight AC. the only counter i've tried and worked is shield

Ok I'm honest, thanks for the firing info and as my thanks, if your high enough almost directly over your opponent, firing your missiles then is almost a guaranteed mix-up. From that angle they can turn behind the opponent. Btw I'm running a bipedal version of this, just some minor changes. I really enjoy that you can play multiple styles of play. Close, kite, rat, consistent DPS or play for stagger then burst DPS them down... But honestly, in the end I would have loved to keep this setup a secret. But since it's out there might as well give all helpful info to make playing it better

I'm not sure I'm completely sold on the trueno here, but the rest I love. I'm not sure what I would replace the trueno's with though. I think the use case you explained is def valid. I just wonder if there isn't a more consistent option. Time to test! Thanks for the share!

do you have any plans to make more reverse joint builds? I am honestly enjoying this so much. the only issue is the kite rushers with the pistols and such.

Are there any good videos on movement techniques you'd suggest? I am not that good at dodging and find I lose target a lot on skilled aerial players.

I've been using this build in ranked (and I'm almost reaching to A rank with this). It's a solid AC now that the Scudder got its recoil reduced. It's also teaching me on how to improve my movement, quick boosting forward on some Fatman homonculus builds assault boosting never gets old 😂
