So alot of people have been asking me what controller I use and why, so i decided to put together a review video going over all of my controller and what i like/dislike about each one and which is my favorite and why. Hope you guys like it. (This is only my opinion and I recommend going out and looking for yourself to develop your own opinion about the various controllers because you may like one that I dislike, who knows?)

THoG Empire call Microsoft explain the bumper issue, they changed their policy and now have to replace the controller due to a design defect I'm sending two controllers to get the grip and RB situation resolved, but I'm sure they are gonna replace the whole thing

I think Scuf stepped their game up with "infinity one" controllers. My friend got one in pink to support his mother for being a cancer survivor, and it has held up. But thanks for the review, I'm definitely the elite controller.

They just add weights. I took apart mine because the mother board broke and I got analog drift after six months. Once i opened it I saw weights inside the controller. I took out the weights and it is as light as the regular controller

@@bigman3944 would say the same. Mine is in service for 2 years of daily use, still works like a charme. It's not only people throwing their controllers, but also how they treat them. Most of the time I see posts about "my controller doesn't work" or whatever, the hardware in question looks nasty as hell. Take care of your tech items, and they'll last.

I prefer using the Razer Wolverine Ultimate. It has 6 programmable buttons, RGB lighting, trigger stops, mechanical buttons, etc. It's wired but I sit 2 feet from my TV so I don't mind.

I've heard the same thing over and over about the scuff controller. You're basically paying $150-$280 for the controller equivalent of a "Donk". Waste of money. They shouldn't be more than $120 for the TOP models.

I had an elite but returned it because I was like why pay 150 when I can buy 2 normal and it just seemed too much for a controller considering it's now only half the price of the controller. But for anyone dedicated to Xbox I recommend it. Great controller. I did a little bit of haggling when it came to returning it. Btw the white one is dope. I've always had black controllers and the white one is so much better but if you have black controllers get the white.

Remember wired has the least amount of lag time. If you are going hardcore fps those ms matter.

Only the early OE controllers lack the 3.5mm stereo jack. MS updated the later (current) controllers with a 3.5mm jack built in.

About the $50 Fusion: I need a new controller bad, my lunar white was great but worn out in 7 months. Does this one have good analog stick for FPS games? Is it larger overall than the MS controller like the 360 was? I may get it anyway and use it the 13 days to see myself.

if you are going to get a new controller and are limited on funds, I'd say take a look at the new power A controller that is similar to the elite... I cannot find a link for it online, but I just got back from Gamestop today and I saw it displayed there and it was only $49.99... you may want to give that a quick look over first before going with the fusion.

It was a personal opinion... don't get me wrong, I have a problem with scuf as a company for poor customer service and poor craftsmanship... it's a great controller but once you buy they just don't care about you. I love my scuf... If it worked without issues like any other controller it would have beat the elite in my view

If you can't afford the Elite controller is the Powera Fusion controller a good second option and is it worth the money? I know the Fusion isn't better than the Elite but I believe it's the closest thing to it.

The response on wired is an average .5-1.5 ms faster input than unwired. unwired does have a bit of input lag, but if you are not a big fps freak like us you won't notice

I would have bought the elite controller but my ping is too high so o just got a xbox slim controller with a fps strickpack then I just tossed on the control freaks on there total would be a good 105 but I would say the elite is a better choice

+THoG Empire from what i keep seeing, the Scuf 360 controllers were made better than the Scuf XBO controllers. I got a Scuf Optic Gaming 2 paddle controller for $40 off eBay that was listed as "for parts/not working" because the trigger adjust screws are stripped and no trigger stops. Had it close to a year, no issues yet, and I'm someone who MASHES on those back paddles.

Does anyone know if Power A Fusion makes a controller for PS-4 ? I had one for PS-3 and I loved the shape and offset thumbsticks. The 5 choices of colored lights was fun too! It didn't have any back controls and couldn't be re-programmed but that was several years ago and I imagine if they made one for PS-4 now, it might be more technologically up to date. I've looked for a PS-4 Fusion controller but I don't think it exists. I wonder why they only make them for X-Box now!

So how is your elite doing now? Any reccomendations? I think I'm either going to start buying dirt cheap, or invest in a top notch (hopefully longer lasting?) controller. I'm very gentle with the 60 - 90 $ controllers, but they just keep breaking after a couple of months. It's very frustrating.

Elite is the best! You can cutomize it your way! It's heavier, but very nice in hands bec of that grip. I love it and i have it by myself, and don't buy the scuf this guy is saying thruth! I needed do fix it 2 times per 1month! And it's not cheap at all. + you have a carrying case with elite

$80 for that cheap piece of plastic? I like that's its wired (personally It's better; noticed that controller reaction is faster) and that it has manual trigger adjustments, but it looks way to fucking cheap to cost $80. Loads of other controllers are the exact same and cost about 25-30 dollars. Scuf is a complete ripoff. The elite is by far the best, but not everybody is gonna pay 150 for a controller, so the original takes the win, especially now that they have modified it to have a headphone jack, and there are also the One S controllers...

Had my elite since release day, no issues at all ! Scuff is just a rip off, customer services sucks balls and there only popular because the pros use them. I have a scuff and the elite, not uses the scuff since I got the elite.

I didn't do that as a comparison for this video, but I am currently working on an updated video with the new versions of each controller and I am going to add in the Razer because many have requested that... Also working on a ps4 controller video as well just waiting on the new "Elite" versions to come in

Scuf is garbage... got my hands on that ps4 vantage and it was straight trash! Stick drift straight out the box, the mic port was defective, the side action buttons are wonky... scuf isnt all that anymore

yes they did, but somehow the elite came out to be a better product because Microsoft actually used top of the line materials when they made the elite. Here it is 7 months later and i have had no issues with the elite controller at all. They did it right when they made the scuf 360, but for some reason they did not do well with the xbox one scuf controllers... Even the ps4 scufs are well made.

I'm very gentle with the 60 - 90 $ controllers, but they just keep breaking after a couple of months. It's very frustrating.

Detox 2 I mean I bought a Xbox one elite scuf and it’s been fine for about 3 months, and I bout a ps4 4ps pro controller scuf 9 months ago and it still works well, and my Xbox 360 scuf still works since like 3 to 4 years

Detox 2 scufs are worth it just make sure you get everything default, even the buttons bumbers sticks all that and if your on ps4 DONT GET THE IMPACT!!! Mine broke in 4 months get the 4ps pro and get concave regular sticks and then get KontrolFreeks

Yeah that pak is legit. Plus it has onboard mods. Only downside is that you have to play wired but they include a 10 ft micro usb. It is hard find now but i think it's something definitely worth trying out and it won't break the bank. Add another 10 bucks and you get their custom grips as well.

the elite is really nice until you play with it for more then a month, the right stick snaps inside and the bumpers also snap. On my fourth elite, its kinda sad and pathetic. I would like to see some reviews on these after a few months of hardcore play time. They BREAK

Winnie Ling call Microsoft explain the bumper issue, they changed their policy and now have to replace the controller due to a design defect I'm sending two controllers to get the grip and RB situation resolved, but I'm sure they are gonna replace the whole thing

Agh, I'm so torn. I really wanna order the elite, but the reviews on amazon are scaring me. There are lots of people saying the elite just doesn't hold up like a $150 controller should. Like the bumpers breaking after a few months. Can any of you guys assuage my fears on this?

Android Junkie well I made this video in march of last year so nearly a year later and no trouble with it at all... and I game every single day in fast paced fps games so lots of button mashing.... still going strong for me.... I've seen those reviews on amazon and have no idea how these people are breaking this controller.... it's very well made in my opinion

Android Junkie don't know if it's too late, but I use an xbox controller with a faceplate and grip I ordered off ebay and put in the paddle mod pack to give me the scuff feel, I love how I have customized that and spent less then the elite still. Works great

DK Totally understand your concern. As you heard though. Scuff, though costing even more has issues as well. So,, it's a toss up as to go with either. I have the elite, for a year now, no issues, but if something that should be premium, were to break I'd definitely write MS. If you're paying that much extra for supposed better,, parts than the basic controller has, they should last longer right? Pay for premium, you expect premium. Keep writing in if they don't offer a repair,, may get it. As consumers we have the right to expect better if we pay more for what they claim to be premium. When the 360 rrd occurred, mass complaints got results. We have to protest or they walk all over us.

Actually razer just announced a ps4 controller, time will tell if its any good or if its crappy (i had bad luck with an xbox 360 razer controller so im waiting for reviews)

Nowadays there's really no reason to buy a scuf or Power A. Regular Xbox controller is really good,plus cordless headset connectivity Xbox original-razer wolverine- Elite would be my suggestion

Is this still your opinion 5 months later? Any recommendations? I think I'm either going to start buying dirt cheap, or invest in a top notch (hopefully longer lasting?) controller. I'm very gentle with the 60 - 90 $ controllers, but they just keep breaking after a couple of months. It's very frustrating.

Thank you for spending the time and money doing this comparison. I had a modded XB controller awhile ago, and shortly after Microsoft launched the Elite I ordered it. It takes about 30 seconds to feel the difference in quality and ergonomics Microsoft put into the design of the elite. Soon the Elite 2 will be available. It’s a no brained- quit kidding yourself with cheap wannabes and buy the Elite 2 or preowned/ on close out original elite. 4 motors for vibration and infinite button customization-SOLD!
