Hello everyone, this is it. The 1.0 update of Sculk Worm is finally out and it is pretty massive. A new mob has been added and the worm has been largely reworked. That's not to mention the handful of new items, blocks, and Sculked mobs added too. There is a lot to say about the mod; too much. So I will just link to the CurseForge page and let you read all about it yourselves!
But first, I would like to give all of the credit in the world to Danbero, who made the amazing music used in the video. They are covers of Turret Wife Serenade and Vitrification Order from Portal 2. Please go check him out! He has recently been remastering the entire Portal 2 soundtrack with another RU-vidr Vandoorea, and it is phenomenal! Here is the link to his channel:

I really hope this mod wasn't abandoned, because it'd be really nice to have in 1.20.1 fabric. There really isn't anything like this mod, and it makes sculk so much better

If THIS was the deep dark we got, I’d be too afraid to even step foot in the caves. If we ever get some kind of Sculk Dimension, stuff like this would be a welcomed addition to it imo.

A while ago there was a Bedrock Addon called "Ender Sickness" Where pretty much every existing mob was retextured to look like an ender-man infested version of the original. They were hostile, could teleport, got hurt by water, etc. The addon hasn't been updated since 2018. I'm not saying this is copying that at all, I believe this exceeds that addon and is its spiritual successor in some sort of way. This looks absolutely stunning and I cannot wait to play this when I get the chance.

Wow, I must applaud you for how much time and effort you put into the trailer and the mod! I've been following each update of the sculk worm mod and then for all of a sudden you come out with a banger update like this? I just might have to download this mod for myself. You did a very well done job, my friend.

Will it be able to progress? Like, will it infest most caves the older the world becomes? And eventually reaching the overworld? This mod looks freaking amazing, it's like scape and run parasites but more "vanilla friendly".

Idea what will make it creepier is if they merged together into a warden like monster weaker but when killed it splits into the different infected that merged into it

this looks incredible! my one suggestion is to polish up a few of the textures just a wee bit to make em look a lil closer to the vanilla sculk, but from a technical standpoint i'd say this is perfect so far, and a wonderful expansion upon the existing sculk concepts

I dunno, for me it kinda reminds me of how the characters in Don't Starve make instrument noises. For me it's specifically the person that had the sqeaking/screeching violin sound for their voice .

This is amazing my guy! Keep up the good work! I’m working on a sort of horror series and I'm DYING to know how you made the sculk worm’s idle groans so I can do similar sounds for the series! (Im not good at sound design lol) Perhaps could you make a tutorial or reply to this comment how you did it, because it would be greatly appreciated! Again, AWESOME mod! :D

Thank you :) I didn't make the worm sounds myself; I found them online. I would recommend going to Zapsplat to look for custom sounds. There are other places but I go there for a lot of mine. For the sounds I have made: I have a high quality microphone and use Audacity to alter pitch, speed, and layer my recordings with other sounds.
