In this video I show you a simple technique to add more defining features to your natural fiber art dolls or Waldorf inspired dolls when you are sculpting with needle felting techniques.

It takes time to hone down your skills and learn how to achieve symmetry. Don't get discouraged as practice does help a lot. I have two online classed where I show you how to felt firmly, with high quality in mind, and how to achieve the face proportions that correspond to young children. You can only handwash them, not throw them in the washing machine. These dolls take a lot of hours and are meant to be treated gently 😍

Maybe I'm dumb but how do you end up putting the fabric on at the end and making it cling to the sculpted face so snugly?

Its a rather lengthy process to drape the fabric and make it conform to all the nooks and crannies (with lots of pins) and then cleverly placed sculpting stitches to sink the fabric into certain areas. It's not magic, just patience, needle, thread and pins.
