Thank you very much for the comment. It makes me happy and encourages me to create more content to know that this motivated him to return to the art of wood carving.
That’s why he’s wearing the glove. Incase any slips happen as your unlikely to cut the hand your holding the blade. unless it’s a MAJOR slip. Ouch. Honestly though if you are careful and have faith in your own abilities you should be ok but obviously mistakes happen, hence the glove.
Absolutely brilliant bit of workmanship crafting and carving to such a great level. Love it, I can think of a few people who that would scare the hell out of. Just brilliant 👏 👌 Cheers Les.
It's because I cut some passages so that the videos are not too long. The idea is to show the steps so that it can be played but not to make a video in real time, otherwise the video would last about 2 hours.
Just got into carving randomly, although I've always wanted to after watching Son In Law anyway lol and the first thing my dad requests is a tarantula so this is so perfect thank you ♡
I like your videos very much. This spider is great, it's a really cool idea 👋☺️👍🇵🇱 (Post scriptum. I wish you would always put a caption at the beginning of the video which tree you use to make the sculpture) Sorry for my bad english
Thanks for the comment, I don't speak English well either so he helped me with a translator. I always put the wood at the beginning of the video but sometimes I don't know what wood it is because I recover it cut in the street. Without leaves it is difficult to know which tree it is.
@@CharlyBrunetSculpture I understand that you don't specifically choose soft wood like linden, but you try every tree?.. eh.. this also teaches me something.. maybe I'm looking for worries and adversity to justify my own laziness?👍☺️ (I also help myself with a translator, my English is worse than a four-year-old child living on the shore of the Congo 👋😉)
@@przypadkowyObywatel Yes, I use any wood, sometimes I find some very bad ones and other times there are good surprises. This also gives you more experience than if you always carve an easy wood like basswood.
I see talk of using a dremel. AND yes you could, I do at times AND YES it still involves skill. And yes it will be cool, But when its done with staight up hand + blade + wood = PURE, 100%, AUTHENTIC, HONEST TO GOD ARTISAN. AND Because he had so much dignity and passion for his craft he is to be respected to a very high degree, as the control, patience and practice that has gone into the craft is extremely commendable and appreciated AND RESPECTED Cheers to the old school craftsman.
@@johnyb.diamond558 Ok maybe in the details of scientific classifications but if you look for this species on the internet all the sites mention it as a tarantula, even wikipedia. I imagine it is because people have already classified it as a tarantula but scientifically it may not be. I leave the title like that since everyone knows it as a species of tarantula and it is not a scientific video about the species. But thanks for the input and clarification.
WOW❤ that Mexican Red knee is beautiful. Absolutely stunning, and looks so realistic fantastic job I love Tarantulars, but could never keep one as a pet, they take a lot of special care🕷
@@CharlyBrunetSculpture Hi there is also a white variety or the Mexican red knee too, I would be afraid to hold one on my hand,, so I'm with you on that, they are beautiful to look at,, but don't touch!!! at least your tarantular won't bite you and you don't have to feed him either, how's that?!!!
