This have been my most educative totoral for customizing figures. This will help me build a indy wrestler out of pro wrestlers action figures. Thank you!
April 12, 2018---Thanks for a useful video. Not into action figures, doll houses, railroading, etc. but been learning a lot from everyone on how to do different things. Got back into modeling in late 2016 after 15 years, but this time it's 1/35th scale zombie/ apocalypse dioramas. Still learning how to modify my military figures to look like civilians, including adding long hair. The ONE time I tried this using Milliput, the figures head looked like it had an one tentacle octopus on top of it! So going to try Epoxy Sculpt along with heat dried polymer clay for some things to use as a master for silicone molds instead of making them out of plastic.
apoxie sculpt cures to a pretty hard material, very much like milliput. It can easily be sanded and drilled. It will crack if you try and flex it though. If you want something that is more flexible after curing, try Green Stuff / Kneadatite.
I agree, was amazing work. I'm actually making a whole head sculpt for the fiend out of clay. It doesn't take a lot of fancy tools for it. If you wanna message and see how the process is going hmu 😆
Hey I am just wondering what kind of paint is that? I'm not making a custom it's just that my CM Punk figure's hair is just fading/going away so tell me what kind of paint is that or what kind i should use to bring it back. Can I use any kind of paint?
Aimo Lewis But youre using it without an actual eraser? And it just cuts through the plastic? Or it's only good for taking off the top layer of paint? Would I be able to use it to sculpt?
