I hope you don't mind me adding your video as an example to the Scum Discussions/Suggestions? Titled: Placing, Dropping, Cooking and Despawning The problem with things despawning that you, other players and I don't want to have despawn is starting to buckle one of my nerves. I've been told (When I was working in Retail at a CEX shop and had 1 difficult customer after another) that I have the patience of a saint; Truth is that I bottle it and between/after 4 to 5 years I explode once enough disappointments/irritations have been accumulated. (The explosion only lasts for 1 - 5 min; but is worse than a Nuclear Warhead in Human form) Last year I had a mental/sensory overload due to PTSD and seeing Needles/Injectables being pushed everywhere I looked; so I've been trying to vent to lift a bit of pressure by helping as many people/dev's/players as I can.

I advise you to buy a mouse with a side keypad with numbers, so that if you have to navigate the menu you can do it quickly with a click and not using the slow mouse cursor. Thanks for SCUM tutorial.

16:49 looks like your cake despawned like the petrol cans, frying pan and cooking pots. (Default on despawns is 1 hour; I wish when we place things they don't despawn; it's a royal pain)

Hi mate, Fonsini here. I completely agree that the time for the gas generator to run out is too fast. If possible, reduce that in your servers would be awesome. 😅

On the generators one the size of a Rhonda is usually good for 3 1/2 to 4 hours the big one should be good for six to eight that's just my opinion it's fairly comparable to real life

Ah after revisiting from the recent luthais 100 tips and tricks , if you logout while sleeping on a sleeping bag (for example) your exhaustion gets reduced. So as long you logout sleeping and eat well, sprint less, exhaustion should not be a problem. Sleeping while logout is key. IDK if I overheared it in this video...

Irl, my small generator lasts for about 8 hrs. Running my fridge, tv, and internet.

I will say I have had a couple problems with the cooking pot and grill grids bugging out and getting stuck in place to where I can’t cook on them, hopefully that gets patched soon. Other than that I love the cooking aspect of the game it’s fun lol

unfortunately the fridges dont actually help preserve anything even with server settings set to the lowest, dont know if this a bug or if anyone else is experiencing this. I have tested both metal chests and fridges and both preserve things the same, yes i made sure generators and fridges were both on and fueled

I heard by another content creator that once 1.0 comes out we will have 4 maps the same size that we are currently on since the map we are on is only the lower left of the whole map. So when 1.0 drops they want to have 3 outta the 4 being played on. You have any idea how huge that is. Wont ever run into another player not ever 😂

I do not see the benefit of sitting 30 minutes in front of my pc watching my char sleeping with a joint. I like the idea of resting but c1 exhaustion should be deplete in 5 or 10 real time minutes. In the early game you have to do a lot of item farming walking around, searching. So realy good food is not a solution for the beginning state, since the skill might be not there yet

Will the generators and propane tanks de spawn after a while like other items set on the ground?

My small generator i use for contruction works for the lights, who is verry similar to the big one in the game , last at least 9-10hours with a 15 Liters tank and gives 2200W. they should at least give it 8 hours of running time :)

Luthais, are any of the players using your servers having problems getting into the game? They would get (Server Temporarily Unavailable) If they try to search for the server it would not be listed. I saw this right after the Hot Fix. Then after the server restarts the problem is gone for a while, even the next day.

Now howisit going to affect afk leveling up skills like strength and endurance?

Do the generators ect despawn after some time?

Yes all the testing is fine, but what if you're a fresh spawn, no cooking books, no cooking ingredients, no pot, pan, gas, generator or anything? no meat because hunting sucks now, no joints, no drinks... But you gotta be out and about to gather said things and other loot to get started. You'll struggle a lot with C2 exhaustion almost from the start, if you're starting with 1 con. 😉 Even resting on log out doesn't work at the moment. I think you should try all this in a Real-play scenario, starting on con 1, see how it goes and then share your opinion. 🙂 But not in singleplayer, there's no exhaustion atm, it's bugged.

can you find cannabis/seeds growing in game? Where? , or maybe at the nightclub in snowy region?

Since you have contacts with the developers of SCUM, could you advise them to insert the mechanics that I will now explain to you? As you walk you'll get a notification if you have a charged phone in your inventory and it will start beeping more and more frequently. This beep will take you to a specific point not far from the notification and once it reaches this it will draw a circle inside which is a buried chest spawned by the game. If you find it inside the virtual circle, you'll dig with a shovel and get the reward. This should be done at a distance from any buried chests of players, so as not to compromise their loot, what do you think? It wouldn't weigh on the server as it would only be a notification and a till which will then be destroyed after a while so it doesn't weigh on the server, it gives logic on the phone and it would be exciting, what do you think?

i think the time you spend to rest and looking for this new thing Exhaustion is too difficult and taking too much of "stoppingTime"/not playing the game;

Since they're trying to be realistic and move away from scum being a game. They should add the system where you can get cancer from smoking cigarettes over time and give us perma death.

you forgot one thing. the character rests when we log off, right now the exhaustion mechanic is just a rly bad rip off from those mobile-game energy shit. when i start the game I WANT TO FUCKING PLAY IT and not lie down for an hour. this is by far the most annoying and dumb mechanic in the game. I understand the idea behind this, but the execution is very very bad. if the devs want to keep it this way give admins the tool to change or disable it ASAP because if it stays this way and past 1.0 i wont play this game that much longer. btw. how can it be that smoking literall poisen will relaxe you more than lying down? its rly rly bad. Some other things i can say are, the food you cook should be timed in realtime and not in ingame time, the ingame time says nothing and forces alot of player to jsut sit afk next to the food. they should think about increasing the time you have for hunts. decrease the time it take to get into and out of a car, right now literally feels like a meme when we consider that the character should know that it isnt safe around and why does he keep the door open till we start driving, its just dumb. But anyway, thanks for your video, it will help alot

Smoking weed should increase int.

I dont never understand why people would have issues with exhaustion. It literally makes zero difference and has no impact unless you play 10 hours straight.
