Another great pvp comp man. I haven't found anyone else with scum pvp like this. Most people have big annoying groups and/or too much talking, other peoples videos seem to be in fast forward, just one kill clip right after another, nothing else. I don't care for either. But these here are perfect. Not too dragged out, but enough context before hand to know what led up to a particular battle. Good work. edit: Btw the 1440p upload made a noticeable difference. I could tell it before I even saw it was 1440p, worth it imo.
mushin, love your videos! explain me how u do in the pvp , like being a solo u just run for pvp or u loot bunkers, create base, look for cars etc? or jus run into pvp fights? Like i started playing scum few weeks ago, what u recommend for me? aaaand last but not least, is ur aim hold or toggle? and ur focus mode is holding right mouse button or do u use other input?
I don't play the game the way the game is supposed to be played, and the way most people do. Most people play on one server and build their character but I don't, because the last few months I have mainly been focused on getting pvp clips for my videos. The way I play is I'll join a random server(with high population) and either order guns from discord or go to the nearest bunker and get geared. From there I go on a run through the sectors(usually b1,b2,b3 & up through c3 into the city) looking for pvp and I'll do that for a few hours then log out. There's not much to the way I play... its pretty simplistic. If you also want mainly pvp experience then I would recommended joining a high population and high loot server that has a discord bot. You can order gear and get it delivered to your position, and also look at the kill feed to see where people are mostly fighting. The only problem with those types of servers is lag and desync. If you want the smoothest possible experience play on official servers, but they are very low loot(which is the way the game is meant to be) and can be hard for new players. Another thing is join deathmatch events every chance you get, you'll get lots of extra pvp practice and you'll improve faster. You can build a base as a solo player but I would also recommend having loot boxes buried around because your base will get raided at some point and you want to have at least some backup gear. And yes my aim is toggle and focus mode is holding right mouse. But that is bugged right now.
U are so good that it seems like u may be hacking lol! Good job man . I can only imagine the no of hours you’ve put in the game. I play like this in PUBG PC and I know how much it takes before u can reach this lvl.
Most of the time I don't play on directx12 and the only reason is I forget about it because I start the game from a desktop shortcut. And I play on lowest video settings.
My first time playing I killed a dude with a knife who had an insane load out. Killed some more people. Than I realized I had to eat, drink and a ton of other shit and for overwhelmed. I need to try this again with someone like you who knows their shit.
hey bro really nice vid! i recently discovered scum kinda like it. But i never seem to find pvp. Can you recommend the best servers and sectors for pvp?
If all you want is straight pvp then join a high population bot server(filter servers by player count). If you didn't know about discord bots... you join their servers discord and they give you a certain amount of coins which you can order gear and have it delivered to you. With the bot you can also track kills and where they are happening most. Most of them also have warzones which people can meet and pvp. In my experience pvp in the center sectors is most common(B3 bootcamp and bunker, B2 airfield, B1 factory), but even for me pvp is not always easy to find. There are a lot of hours I have to play to find pvp sometimes. These videos can be deceiving because people seem to think I find nothing but pvp everywhere but just isn't the reality.
Can we get some feedback like train of thought/plans when your on cam or even a voice over after the fact. Like i love how simple yet good GAMING content. But its just a tad dull for binge watching. I watch your video while at work and i miss alot cuz idk whats going on till i look over at the gunshots
I try to show visually what I'm doing and then if I'm doing something that I feel needs an explanation I'll add text but I try not to if I can help it. Just pure gameplay and nothing else. About a voice over I don't think I will ever do that for a few reasons: Number 1 I don't really have the best speaking voice for that and 2 most of my subs are from non English speaking countries so they wouldn't understand me. And 3 I'm Scottish so my accent is not understandable to even people who speak English most of the time. What I will recommended is a twitch streamer called JayW. He is an English guy and a really smart solo scum player. He usually explains what's happening during his pvp moments, and you will learn a lot about scum from watching his stream.
At 17:38 why did he stop? And all of a suden you can hear a player in the bush next to him 5-10meters away. Im not saying hes walling but there is some intresting ways he spots players. I mean its in the middle of nowhere in a forest and he stops right there… Dont get me wrong hes very skilled but you cant explane this to me!
I thoroughly enjoyed these clips. I'd love to run a duo server with someone that plays like this. Tactical and plays it smart. The server I play is kinda sleepy. It's made me kinda soft since I don't really run into people. What server do you play? Earned a sub with this video!!
Thanks, yeah its pretty difficult to find pvp on most servers. People seem to think that I get pvp all the time but the reality is that it's as hard to find for me as it is for everyone else. The difference with me is that I jump from server to server to find it and also mostly stay around the center sectors(B2 airfield mainly) which are most common for pvp. There's also endless hours of nothing happening in-between these pvp moments a lot of the time.
@@mushin3473 How do you set up your stats when you spawn in? The last time I kept it the 4 primary stats all on 3. All the points on rifle skills, Half and half for running/endurance, All on stealth, and all on awareness.
@@echo173 these are my typical character stats: 4 strength, 2.5 con, 2.5 dex, 3 int Max rifles, melee as high as it can go running medium then endurance up medium driving and then stealth up medium eng and medium awareness
@@echo173 I usually just join a high pop high loot server and run around for a while. I don't settle on any one server. Its not really the way the game is supposed to be played but I am trying to get content.

@@TheMrRebel no I don't sorry. All my keys are default except I have change camera set to my side mouse button. I have 2.5k hours in the game and that is why my movement is so smooth. I have all the different keys in my muscle memory from the hours I put in.
@@TheMrRebel tbh I've never really thought consciously about how I lean and take corners in this game. Its just something I do instinctively due to experience. I do usually run up to a corner and lean round it and same with a door... I'll run up to a door and stand to the side of it, lean and aim as I open the door. One thing I do that could help you is to play around with the keys even when you don't need to. For example I will check fire mode, check ammo, change camera, switch weapons etc and do that all the time as practice, and it cements it into your muscle memory much quicker when you do that.
I'm constantly alert in this game... I don't relax. Even if I am wandering around for hours and nothing is happening I'm always listening out and scanning all directions for players.
Another thing I will say is that I have a lot of hours in this game so I can tell the difference between ambient sounds and players. So experience plays a big part too.
I play on a lot of servers. I usually filter them by player count and then join a populated one and head for usual pvp hot spots like the airfield or surrounding sectors. It's one of the perks of being solo is I'm not tied to one server... I can leave one that I don't find pvp and join another. Also, there's many hours of me playing where nothing is happening that I don't record which I need to go through to get these small pvp clips.
@@mushin3473 I just can’t run scum, last time I played was like 5 months ago and I played in all poor graphics and my pc didn’t like it, also I only like playing dayz for pvp I don’t like the survival aspect at all. I think that’s why I haven’t really played scum I just wanna kill people in a open world not worry about 900 ways to get wet 🤣🤣.
