Indeed it does. I love seeing the island from the air. The only way I've found to lower the plane (or any vehicle) volume is to lower the sound effects volume, but that also lowers ALL the sound effects (like walking, doors opening/closing, weapons, etc) so I don't want to lower it too much and have the game be too quiet.

Yeah, I thought of that after getting to the airfield and grabbing the first 2 wheels. That would've been much smarter.

That's just a typical Monday lol. I hope I can inspire people with my expert Scum skills. "Wanna be awesome at Scum??? Watch this guy! Then DON'T do whatever the Hell he does!!!"

I know, but if I start with better condition wheels, then I don't have to waste a repair kit on the wheels. I figure if I find multiple wheels, I might as well take the best ones.

Indeed it is. I wish they would put a warning label on the fires. Something like "Fire hot! You dumb! Stay away!" Heck, knowing me, I'd still walk into the fire and then go "Yep! The fire is indeed hot! I'll remember that for next time!(no I won't)"

Yeah, I thought that might be the case when I edited the video. If I'd stopped after the first one and waited a minute, the second would've been fine. Live and learn! Or in my case: hopefully live, but probably die, and maybe learn, unless I forget!

So I've been told. That seems odd, doesn't it? You'd think vitually every car in the scrapyard would have an alternator still in it. Might be junk condition, but surely you could find one. I remember going to a scrapyard with my grandfather years ago specifically to get an alternator for a car he was working on.

I've only seen Mist Survival, but it looks fun. Not sure how buggy it is currently, as the last video I saw on it a couple months ago showed it was fairly buggy, but that may have been resolved by now. Sons of The Forest looks like a fun game, and can be played multiplayer. Maybe once I can do charity streams, if I can get people together to do it, that might be a decent game to do a multiplayer charity stream for. Scum could certainly work too, if everybody involved was ok with being part of a charity stream.

That's about what I expected. Maybe in the future they'll expand the map so you can escape the wall but there will be much deadlier things out there, so you NEED to be geared to even hope to survive.

I did. It didn't work. That doesn't seem to work "when nature calls". Or at least it never has for me. Eating, yes. Doing some other action, yes (usually). Going to the bathroom, nope. Has never worked for me, and I've tried it numerous times.

That's unfortunate. I swear I've found alternators there before, though, but I may be misremembering

I'm doing better. Still not 100%, but I'm never 100% anymore. But I'm functional now, anyway, so that's about as good as can be hoped for!

How's your trip going, or are you back? I can't remember when you said you were heading home.

@@FlailyMcFlailerson it was fun, did some fishing, rented jet skis. I came back Saturday night the drive was very slow about a 13 hour drive with some stand still traffic but other than that it was a very good trip, thanks for asking

I'm glad you had fun. Sounds like a really nice time. Reminds me of when I was a kid and we'd all load up with Grandpa's pontoon boat and our jet ski (it was a very underpowered one by today's standards, but back then it was fun!). I miss those trips. And I'm sorry you had to deal with the long drive and crappy traffic. I've learned to take backroads, if I can, to avoid traffic. It takes longer, but it's more scenic and usually no traffic jams...unless it's farming season. Then you get stuck behind a combine that takes up the entirety of a 2-lane blacktop, or a fully loaded semi-truck hauling grain on the windy backroads so it never gets above 30mph, but there's no passing zones because it's all hills and windy curves. Fun times...Anyway, I'm glad you had a fun trip, even if the drive to and from kinda sucked.

I will attempt to do better about that. The problem is I have very few (if any) skill points in melee, and I'm shite at it to begin with (which would improve with practice, but...). Also, the puppets doing double damage doesn't help my odds. But you're right, I need to get better at switching to melee weapons. I do try, but getting mauled seems to cancel out the action of switching weapons, so I guess I need to work on my timing.

I know, but it's hard to control the plane. I'm playing with controller, so key-bindings are a little iffy for the plane. I need more practice to get the hang of it. I REALLY need to practice my landings. Plus my aviation skill is nonexistent. I'm not sure how much that affects plane handling, but I know it sure isn't helping.
