I watched another ancient version... Where FL was the queen, but she has a son. This is like the 3rd similar kind I have watched, but these fl & ml actors are by far the best looking out of 3. These type of drama is like in a parallel universe, not the current China set up (where the ultimate power is not the wealthy, but CCP ??)

i really like the actors and actresses. However there is only so many times in so many ways you can have everyone disbelieve that a person is wealthy and powerful. If the ex husband didnt believe it at first, when the contract was tore up and all the drama at the signing happened, he should have realized it and make his peace with it. But he didn't because of the whole drama premise, they just did it over and over again. so tiring.

These script writers have no imagination or creativity. All these short stories are exactly the same. A lot of verbal abuse by the villains, FL just sits there, which it’s very idiotic and unrealistic because even the most calm and educated person would not sit there and take that crap. And who the hell attempt murder in front of so many people and no one reacts! She would have shoved her foot down her throat and swept the floors with her. Extremely long scenes of the same narrative but not saying much. Please, don’t insult our intelligence. If you’re going to write, put some effort into it.

Translation is hilarious. ‘Severely punish children! Severely punish children!’ lol an entire half of the drama is spent in trash talk in the banquet hall. They must make these dramas to save on location shoots. Just in one spot for days and days. No worries about costume changes.

Cannot really tell whether the FL name is Zhao Muyan, ( as in "watch?v=fd76rTMGAq0") 9:14 take the money even if not needed, even just to make him slightly poorer... Give to charity or something 13:25 not believable. She fights a few thugs, but cannot block a slap? 2:00:55 when he presents the gifts, he is facing audience, but his back to recipient. So this would signify the recipient is not as important as the audience ... In the end, there is opening for more to come.
