Salut! 2.8 ok! Problemele mele sunt descrise mai jos. Nu stiu ce masina ai dar banuiesc ca vorbim de o Toyota. Toate cele bune si sper sa iti rezolvi problemele cu minime cheltuieli! SCV is the problem ! Identic simptoms on my Toyota ! (New injectors, new filter, perfect gloplugs but a big pain in the a** at starting ). Sometimes SCV can be cleaned, If some of you are not sure, and don't wont to risk spending money useles, take one SCV from another car (same engine), with atention on mounting at orings and conector, keep calm when you do this, for a test and then you know what you have to do. HINT: If the engine starts but in LIMB mode (not going after 1200-1500 tot/min) and CHECK ENGINE ocures after this, DON'T PANIC ! Just unplug minus terminal from batery for aprox 10 minutes, and all errors will be cleaned and after this the engine will go and start perfectly. All i explined i did on my own risk on an 2.0 L D4D Toyota Auris with the exactly the same simptoms in this video. Wish you all the best and hope you gige me good news about the car !

@@DonMikson power supply that I use has voltage and curent control. Scv uses 5V voltage. When fully opened it needs 1.5Amps. If you limit the curent you can keep it open on any point.

@@DRJMF1 corolla has 2 scv valves, red and green valves. Father in law has it, 2L d4d corolla.

I limited the current on the power supply. It moves faster when unlimited.

Hey mate, I ended up getting a new SCV and thought I would test the ohms before I installed it. I found that the new one gave me 0 ohms just like the old one. Not sure why, I have a 2010 Nissan R51 Pathfinder, maybe they test differently. I thought that maybe the old SCV was not faulty after all but I installed the new one anyway and the car is running great now, problem solved!

Car N Radio hey mate. Yeah the ohm meter works fine. Tested it on a resistor and no problem. Bit both new and old SCV gave me 0 ohms. And the problem I was having as come back so it wasn’t the SCV. 🙁

Get both valves new, green and red. Toyota complicates more with this.

On autodoc there are different brands from 130-200€ pair , does it matter the brand of not really? Thanks

I used original on toyota. Was about 280e with work. Not worth that wife gets stuck somehere with the child. They changed both on the corolla d4d 2.0 diesel.

Denso might be ok. On mazda they are oem.

Just ordered Denso scv , hopefully by Friday I'll get them; otoh I'd like to try and clean the old ones, maybe testing also, do I need a special switch or just connect them to 5v (does it matter amps ?

there is no polarity. at least there wasn't on this one.

did this earlier, used isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle, got some debris out, i used a usb cable to make a makeshift power supply, will test it out on the road later

I’ve cut open one of their oil filters and it was hopeless, better to not have one.

I actually had a fram filter in there. changed the mechanic also.

Bmw Power you can check mazda 6 workshop manual for more info. I used 5V becouse it has resistance 2.2ohms and at 12v that would be 6Amps of current. And i dont have power supply that strong.

@@CarNRadio1 Hi, Thanks for replying. My also has 2.3ohm resistance.. My bmw scv has 3ohm and operates at 5v 180hz pwm. I can't.find any info on Mazda workshop manual. I saw some tuning company selling denso scv and they do specify 12v and 24v scv only.. no 5v. I don't think the scv that runs at 12v would work 100% on 5v.

when conected to 5v it is fully open. i didnt tried it with pwm yet. i am waiting for the module to arivve from china.

fluctuating engine speed. I couldnt keep it turned on without holding gas pedal. it turned off at every trafic light...

1.39 is in amps, not voltage. It draws 1.39A at 4.9V.

some crap that came through fuel filter. It was fram fuel filter that previous owner had inside.

Zeri Mara sludge from the fuel. But it was enough to make it stall in crossroads.

It is a reference voltage in the car and this units works on 5V pwm.
