I'm working on the deadbolt sir. I am going to get a new chassis. I have new tires now! Things will get better with time on the deadbolt. Lol great video sir. Sorry I missed crawling on the rocks. Looking forward to the comps. Oh need a place to film making of mountains? You can help me make mine!
I have 100% confidence that you’ll get the deadbolt dialed in. Just takes a little time to understand why it’s not doing what you want and how to fix it. Totally cool that you couldn’t make it but you were missed. As far as mountain building goes, I had the idea to holler at the city about space under an overpass. I want to see if they’d let me build down there and I’ll build something super badass. It would at least be covered year round. Anyway, catch ya later bro! Hope you have a great one!
Thanks dude! I love making turns like that. There’s a few of them in the back. I’ll have to see if I can put a line together and show them off. I sure appreciate you, buddy.
KLR/M’s my go to tire most of my 1/10 scale the basic Voodoo KLR/M you have to check out from flubber stuffers slime balls, testing out a set with these tires on my gladiator I’m switching out all my rigs even my 10th scale Riggs which is all crawler innovations little nova. That’s How good I think the slime balls are
I’ll look for that video. Heck yeah we’re still here, your videos are too cool not to watch all of it, 👍👍😎 yes we’ve been having a good week but it sure has been hot. Love the mountain wish I could build something like this in my yard, but I live in a trailer park don’t think they would let me. Will catch you on the next one peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍
You’re awesome Andrew! I sure appreciate you buddy! That’s too bad on not having a space to build your own mountain! Peace and chicken grease, for sure!
I just put a 66 turn in my nephews c-10 and man it sure it quiet he will probably never need much else. I have a samix and it is loud. Not much crawl in it either.
The 66t was a great upgrade from stock, smooth and quiet. There are benefits to the pro but it’s not necessarily worth the upgrade if you already have a motor. If you’re in the market, it’s way worth the dollar extra!!! It’s more battery efficient, too. But again, if it’s rolling and it makes you happy, let her rip! Hope you have a great day, bro!
So I’ve got the mofo plus 4 CVDs in my scythe. I have a mofo brass front axle and a mofo aluminum front axle in the rear. I used a smaller bushing where the knuckles mount to the axle. I have a very small amount of slop in my knuckles. I have not broken a CVD yet. Maybe the smaller king bushing allows the knuckles to move just enough to allow the CVD to flex rather than break. Not sure??? But I haven’t broken one. The only CVD I’ve broken is in my mofo monster truck.
Good to know. I haven’t had any issues on my plastic axles. If I don’t take it apart to look at what you’re saying, I’ll do it when it breaks again, lol. Thanks! Hope you have a great weekend!
I haven’t had any problems in awhile. I think it was the housing. I swapped it out. Haven’t had any problems with the plastic housings but I’m also going to be using the “full girth” spring steel cvds from here out, as I replace them. Thanks for hanging out bro. Hope you have a great one.
The CV axles bind on the knuckle (king pin) screws. Those axles also have screws on the end of the axle that bind on rims. I have tried using them in a few builds and gave up. The newer portal axles are really solid with the newer axle shafts and I have these in at least 5 builds.
Your outdoor course is awesome!!! Great video as always. Your should try the red Injora motor with the Lizard Pro sometime, surprised me when I tried it.
I intend to give that a go sometime soon. I really want to get the buggy on the fly sky radio but have to replace the esc to do that. I wanted to do exactly what you’re saying, saving the expense of the whole stinger package and just running these motors I have. Haven’t decided if I want to leave Max brushed or make the switch. Thanks for hangin out brother! Hope you have a great one.
@@texomarc My Gladiator is brushless now with the MOFO Nano Beast, love it. I like that it uses the stock motor position; plus the insane slow crawl. Now I just need to get my outdoor course done. Have a good one!
Injura is a cool brand and all but I've received a couple parts I couldn't even use due to screw holes beeing off. Maybe that could be ur issue if a screw hole is off puting pressure in a bad spot could cause the issue?
I don’t think there’s any errors in the axle housing. That’s not what I was saying. The problem could be simply that the aluminum isn’t flexing to compensate for any binding in the axle itself, which stresses the week points and it breaks in time. The plastic could be flexing, just that little bit, and never developing the stress fracture.
@@texomarc ah ok . I wonder if there would be a way to do a steel housing with plastic ends so you get the bounce protection the soft spot for the ends and that lill extra waight u wanted with metal. Just a probably bad thought lol. I remember back when I was a kid my father did that for some rc he was building . The main houseing was thick metal but the end knuckles where plastic of some type .
@@AnthonyAndJanell Nice! We’ll see. Just gotta keep running ‘‘em in the gladiator. The only other thing is the knuckle screws in the aluminum housing get loose and allow for a tiny bit of slop. That slop, combined with the rigidity of the axle could be the problem.
Same tires on the gladiator and the bronco. Those are the Powerhobby Trail Warriors. Favorite tire to date for performance. Break the stock foams down a little and they’re awesome! They’re just smaller than the Trail Kings from LGRP. Not for every build but when you want to see just how awesome these cars can be, slam it down and put these tires on! Thanks for hanging out bro! Hope you have a great day.
@@texomarc hey Josh I’m Zach. Had a question about your shooting/editing process. Seems like lately I’ve notice you may be dubbing in your voice after the filming. Are you filming and driving? What are you filming with generally. I do like the long play format with small editing here and there, I just find I can’t do it as a one man show.
@@cardboardcrawlersrc8805 Hey brother, Yes, I’m filming and driving. I have a Smooth 5 gimbal for my iPhone 13 pro max. It helps a lot! It takes practice, so if it’s something you want to do, you just have to do it and suck for awhile. Film a run and watch your videos back for ideas on how to improve, is it entertaining, what could be done better and don’t put too much pressure on yourself. It’s hard, especially when I try to keep any kind of conversation for the video, which is why I most often do the voiceovers. I use my iPad for editing and publishing and it seems to go alright. Does that help? Lol. Thanks for watching bro!
Your course is sick bro. I know we all jeep saying it, but seriously, you making me want to get a bunch of cement and start building. But then I remember it's 110 outside, and decide maybe later.
Thanks brother! I’d have to really be motivated to start a project like that after work when it goes over 100. If I could get myself excited about it, I’d get after it but it would be a hard sale! Lol. I’ve been waiting til dusk to drive and running the misters helps. I appreciate you hangin out bro and I hope you have a great day!
Oh man! What a sic crawling course you made, makes me wish you where my neighbor lol! And it's always a good thing the wife doesn't say anything about the mountain, it just means they secretly approve 😉😄👍.
Thanks man! That would be awesome if you were my neighbor! Secret passages? Come on, dude! My wife certainly approves, even when she’s giving me a hard time about my “bleachers” (the driver stand). She’d prefer they went away but it keeps me around the house and in a good space, so she’s all for it. I sure appreciate you hangin out bro! I’ll let you know when one of my neighbors move out. Lol! Hope you have a great one.
I’ve been running the mofo +4mm cvds front and rear on 3s with the regular kamodo and aluminum axle housings from hot racing. I’ve ran into no issues so far and I’ve been running them for about 4 months. I’ve put them through binds and very tight turns against big rocks and have never run into an issue. My servo or steering links usually give out before my cvds so I can attest to the hot racing housings at least! Goodluck with the future cvds you get!
Awesome video bro dudes!! Loving that cliffhanger on portals! Wish I had that mountain range in my backyard!! Hope you and the fam are doing well and your staying cool out there!
Yeah Nick is a awesome dude, loves his stuff. My red bronco is 90% mofo, but I been getting into my FCX 24 power wagon I love this rig, the super slow smooth crawl which is my favorite, hit second gear and it’s out of there. Appreciate the video, it’s always a good time watching your videos and I love the way you talk through them, you make it fun and funny. You’re the best 👍👍😎
@@reprieverc Yessir. That’ll do it. These gladiators are crazy with some mods, upgrades and weight. I’m still blown away that it’s getting better. Looking forward to seeing some more action.
Thanks brother! I worked late yesterday and wasn’t able to get those shipped. Hope to get it done today. Thanks for hangin brother and I hope you have a great day!
