Very well played NaVi, just shows to never give up and believe in your team (can't say too much about pubs these days though). Greetings from Singapore.
agreed. also from interviews na'vi artstyle said they saw the teams and the teams werent as good as they expected. whether or not artstyle was wrong it showed that na'vi was very confident and this would have boosted their gameplay
Im guessing cost and item space. Remember that they all have to carry a tp and have boots. Put in the disposables for the supports (who are too squishy to make use of it) and the lack of space on viper/furion (the better fed, tankier carries), a pipe doesnt have value on the supports when you can pump out a blink dagger/hex faster or more disposables used for ganks. In short, it isnt cost worthy enough when you can get more damage on the carries or more support on the supports.
Not only are the picks very important, but they also are the most fun part of a Dota video. Picks are when you make a strategy, while the rest of the game is just carrying that strategy out.
scythe tried to do in this game what navi did to them in the first game. a team with no hard carrys, just trying to gank and end the game fast. went well for some time until eventually mirana and viper farmed... navi turtled well and in the end they were simply stronger in the teamfights. nicely played!
it's the same person, toby slesh pretty much thoes few just that the quality is different. dota 2 didn't had the official cast slot 2 years ago, nowadays caster can join the official game as caster and people can watch the game directly from dota 2 client while listening to the client. of course no caster want that since it means their official site have less viewer = less advertising value haha
@Tgvyhb2222 IMO, considering the money difference that scythe was able to put in navi, it was the good job of viper tankinf up. I mean, he is dps and he had 2000+ HP. I think it was viper's tanking that helped mirana gettinf enough time to build the items
I'm wondering why scythe didn't push in harder as a team. It was obvious the split pushing by prophet was working only so far and was eventually just feeding Potm farm.
Scythe would've won, but they stalled for too long. Was rooting for Na'vi from the start. Amazing comeback. Prophet could've tried to counterpush at the top lane.
I'm not gonna claim to understand tourney level game-play since I'd most likely get destroyed by these people....but ALL this magic damage and not a single cloak? I'm not suggesting getting a defiance on everyone, but cloak is a mere 550g for 12% mr. Seems like a pretty good investment to me. Also to go a step further, a single pipe would make a hell of a difference against these line-ups.
Scythe did well I supposed, both are really good teams. Navi deserved the win, scythe shouldn't have turtled for so long. Though good move taking away nightstalker. That hero is imba. I am surprised iceiceice did not sprout and nature summon the trees for heroes like AA who bought the tree eater.-,-
Chill. There are people that don't want to watch 8 minutes of picks. Even more important you can scroll the video to 8:20 and look at all the bans and picks in the correct order. This way one can think for himself, because what the commentators say is not important (for me).
