@@thegreatestegg8045 not at all, the plat players go easy on you because they know you are silver and they know that they could beat you easily so they give you a chance unlike the golds
Becaus he has 5k hours for me some things are extremely easy as well and can't imagine why someone would not be able to do them but thta because I've already gotten used to or have more hours.
Hey phazon idk if its possible but i find myself having to turn my volume all the way up to hear you at a comfortable volume, not sure what could be done like moving the mic closer or something but either way, always like watching your videos and your commentary!
U ppl should play on australian servers, there is nearly no spammers here, it's amazing. the spammers are mainly in silver instead of gold, and usually they don't even know how to spam
I kind of want to play you and have you point out my biggest flaws lol. I like the way you do commentary :) I barely make it to plat and I’m bad at combos but I love to play and try to get better :)
7:16 random wakeups are a big thing in gold and especially in Plat. It's annoying because at that level you often mess up your follow ups, so you get hit by the random wakeups. People get in that habit because its so rewarding at a lower level
Phazon about the dodge In thing, I sometimes dodge In on scythe because I feel like they are gonna continue the combo forward so to move away from that I dodge in the opposite direction in this case In. Also when I dodge in I think that I can punish them because they are gonna continue attacking forward and I can hit them from the back. I hope this helps you understand that there's not just the fight or flight reaction happening it's other stuff as well.
The thing is it’s really easy to punish people who dodge in. Easier than people who dodge up. If I were you I would try to dodge away fast fall then dodge in for a punish.
14:40 - To me, kind of. Because it is a spammer that gets what is coming to them, but it's the fact that they are probably just a young kid trying to play a game that gets me down. I think some people will also agree, but I just wish spamming wasn't a thing in the first place either. Either way, it is a mechanic/play-style in a fighting game. Whether or not the player wishes to spam or not, it is the way they choose to play.
that ulgrim is definitely a smurf (he was not playing like a gold) also as much as I love seeing these spammers get beat up, I hate seeing smurfs just as much. Cheers
One day I trained against a Orion bot, in normal. I deafeated that bot easily. Then I set his attack options to "only sigs" and I started jumping in his attacks (and dying)
Thats because you are panic jumping stop jumping every tien you get approached or hit I am 1930 elo and still do this sometimes but by watchign my replays I found out about this mistake and fixed it.

Fighting spammers is so demotivating imo. Like someone who literally just presses the same button 10 times in a row and probably doesn’t know a single string, managed to get to the same rank as somebody who grinded their ass off for what could easily be years
Since im gold. I never understood why people said gold was bad. The. I saw low - mid gold. I understand now. I would say the only reason im not out of gold is my fear for playing ranked

wow i never rlly knew ppl had a problem with sig spammers i hate it i'm gold 3 1400 - 1500 elo and lose to sig spammers i'll be somewhere else and they will be just sigging and i would just get hit into it or the just sig back up onto stage or just non stop ground pound
a good tip to get out of gold is attacking a bit less. it helps you think about your attacks a bit more and you will find yourself hitting the opponent more often and getting punished less.
