Hi Treyz, your model came out really nice. Thanks for showing the build. I really like the way you painted and weathered it. Nice job on that base, sometimes you just have to go with what looks right. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Trey, your flak track is darn impressive. The weathering and painting are superb, no surprise but still a joy to see. Your Wehrmacht team is more than credible and I hope you are pleased with them as I think they enhance your display. Thanks so much for sharing with us. 👍👍👍
Thanks Mark I can't express enough how much you encouraged me to venture the dreaded figure painting path ! Still a long way to go but without the support of fellow modelers like yourself it's difficult to venture out of our comfort zones. Cheers Trey
@@treyzmodels422 Yes sir. While I haven’t always had immediate success in venturing outside my comfort zone, I won’t stop trying. The path to improvement isn’t necessarily straight or smooth but it’s worthwhile. Mostly 😉. And I usually learn something even from the wrong turns. 😊
Great video! That half track looks amazing. Great work on the color modulation and weathering. The base really kicks the build up a notch too, nicely done telling a story with the base / model. I think that was the right call with the base. I looked at those trees from Hobby Lobby and thought the same as you discovered. It might make some good ground scatter so likely not a complete loss. And of course another brilliant production, angry chipmunk noises was hilarious.
Thanks Buddy we try to keep some light hearted humor in there! Glad you enjoyed it💖😜👍 means a lot to me . Hoping you can make Modelpalooza , you have some contenders on the shelf
Really like the historic footage at the beginning. Love the outcome and weathering. The repositioning of the figures look really good too. The base looks better smaller. Stay safe and model on my friend.
Nice job, Trey! Don't knock your figures... they turned out really well, methinks. Your base turned out great as well... portrayed the wet/muddy ground nicely! Great video, amigo!
Exellent work! Dragon kits can be a bit involved but you made a fantastic job with it,and the figures and base really added interest to the model and put it into a context witch makes it more interesting and tells a story👍
Nice...nice...very nice but I will not be flying my Hawker Typhoon anywhere near your location. Congrats on getting the H8K Emily....now build the 1/72 kit. As always your build is impressive!
Thanks Joe! Your Tiffy armed with rockets would certainly level the field (pun intended😜). The Emily is now on my bench, appreciate the congrats. Yes the 1/72 scale is on the bucket list, hoping to score one @ Modelpalooza , thanks for the support cheers Trey
Outstanding build; you didn't give yourself enough credit for the painting of the figures; they look beautiful (I use the brake fluid method to remove old paint as well). I also really like how you integrate historical references, facts, photos, music, etc. It truly makes for a great presentation. Fran
@@treyzmodels422 Glad we were finally able to link up. Hopefully, we'll both make it to Modelpalooza. I am confident you will do an outstanding job on the M15. Your Sdkfz 7/1 needs a worthy adversary!
Yeah those bags with old train model trees are terrible. I usually build my own trees from the trunk up from leadwire and putty. Than add some ground up sponge or cork as vegetation. Oh well, we build, we learn. Lovely dio! ❤
@@treyzmodels422 No worries m8. And you should give it a go, as its not that difficult at all. And you will avoid all the frustration and extra work. Anyways, happy modeling and see you around!
