Gone are the days of the workshop manual. I remember when I had a motorbike, they was so simple to fix. Now, I would think there'd be very similar to your car, in that they are very complicated to fix. Nice bit of kit anyway. Thank. for sharing Steve.

The engine is so cute. A little 1 liter (that's 1000cc) 3 cylinder turbo FORD thingamabob. This is interesting because FORD has a track record of hating turbos except for Diesels. Sometimes removing the O2 sensor can be difficult. I use a dedicated O2 socket and heat up the manifold slight if the sensor will not crack loose easily. Epoxy, like JB weld, might be a better choice for at quick temporary repair plastic manifold repair. For a permanent repair, It is possible to use the uncommon and unique skill of plastic welding to fix a plastic manifold. It is good to practice first on a junk manifold from the junk yard. Once you are confident in the proper filler material and possible screen approach, then you can remove the manifold, clean it up and make the repair. Is there another upstream O2 sensor directly on the exhaust manifold above the downstream sensor?
